Crawley sing song
at 18:43 14 Apr 2012

I almost feel sorry for Rotherham...Almost!

I now want Crawley to get promotion after celebrating every loss this season. Had the misfortune to be in the same restaurant as Evans in Brighton and without going into details, he didn't leave a positive impression.

Have a feeling that you're winding me up here. But no, he's not out of contract. Signed a years extention and took a pay cut in the process. He's still a regular in our team...missing today though with a virus.

ps...I'll save 442 dale the bother of posting the following reply....

'I hope it's nothing trivial'

Aww don't be like that Dale! We're unlikely to win them even if we do. And for the record I wanted you to make the playoffs last season....not that that will change your mind I know!

Hi all,
I know you still have a tough job on your hands, but just wanted to congratulate you on a magnificent fightback today. That's the Rochdale I know!

Best of luck. I'd be delighted if you stayed up, difficult though it will no doubt be.

Well I'm definitely not Mrs Trew. She is poundpie. I'm honoured you think I might be her, she's a very well balanced and likeable lady.

To the previous poster, I'm sure you're right, but I still maintain there is little we as fans could do about it all. At some point we just have to let it go and move on. It's not something I would ever wish to be repeated, despite the success we achieved. the whole debacle was an embarrassment.

Easy answer to that question. Because our new owner was willing to fund his wages for the rest of the season which is what he was entitled to do.

How do you know a club would have come in for him at that late stage anyway?

If he'd been a striker, maybe, but goalkeepers aren't in such high demand

I was wondering who would be the first to say that.

Congratulations, you've won a cuddly toy!

Oh I'd love that! Absolutely love it!

Rumours are Mandaric has interviewed Dave Jones for the post already though. There was an article in the mirror on Sunday before the Derby that Megson had put a complaint in about interviews going on for his job.

Their fans will go mental. Particularly after the win on Sunday, if it's true.

Lol yeah, Keith Hill (or Kieth Hill as that embarrassing banner said) is a bit of a pantomime villain for us. 'If we don't catch them the taxman will'. Bless him.

Hand on heart I don't hate Rochdale at all. Will be very sad if you go down. I hope this doesn't sound patronising because it truly isn't meant that way, but last season was immense for you and what you achieved on such a limited budget. It just goes to show what a good manager (yeah I nearly choked saying that) and team spirit can do.

I enjoy the banter too, even if you don't agree with me. It's what football is all about. For me at least.

What would boycotting the matches do? Just put us deeper in the doo doo. And i can't think that you'd really expect any different from a football crowd in a match that could have decided the championship? Football fans are a totally fickle bunch for the most part.

By then we'd been taken over by Ray Trew and so were 'safe'. May have been a very different story or maybe there would have been no match at all had we not been.

I honestly don't see that anyone would say anything different about the Munto affair. It was a shameful part of our history, but one we, as 'ordinary' fans had little control over after the trust board failed to do even the basic necessary checks.

As far as I'm concerned I'm just grateful that we now seem to be on an even footing financially. Trust me, I know how lucky we were.

If you read what I actually wrote, I said that I am not for a moment saying men shouldn't keep their hands to themselves.

No, I don't think it's ok to pat one's secretary on the bum, or any woman for that matter. Having had it done to me by my boss in the past I know it's not what any woman wants.

Would I scream blue murder and report it to the police? No. In the first instance I'd speak up and make sure that the person was in no doubt that it was unwelcome. If it carries on you're into the realms of sexual harrassment.

I stress that this is my personal opinion and I am fully aware that perhaps the majority will disagree with me.

Coleman Interview DalePlayer
at 19:34 29 Feb 2012

Yes that's Alan Judge. One of the players MA allegedly tried to offload to MK Dons in January before the board found out and blocked it! It's become a bit of a joke that he hits the woodwork every single game.

Interesting you mention our left and right backs. Both are 2nd choice. John Harley has been frozen out all season and was on loan at Rotherham. He's come in because Sheehan got injured last match. Julian Kelly, our rb was a bit unlucky in that he was playing..got injured and we got a loanee called Keiron Freeman from forest youth. He's absolutely immense and has kept the place, although was on international duty last night with the under 21's

If you slap someone across the face, you aren't accused of murder are you?!

I was not implying that men shouldn't keep their hands to themselves, my PERSONAL view is that calling a pat on the bum 'sexual assault' is wrong. I'm sure a lot of people will disagree, many of our fans do too.

I know that. I also know catagorically that it was NOT two footed. I've seen a still photograph of it. If the refs report says that we may win an appeal. If he puts 'dangerous challenge' or something else then we may not.

Actually think it's unlikely that he will appeal it. It's notoriously difficult to get red cards overturned. A month ago we would have despaired if this had happened, but now we still have Montano and Forte, and Burgess if you count him as a striker. Gives the old man a rest so he's refreshed for the run in, if I want to look at the positives!

Errr no, it's what Keith Curle himself said after he asked the ref after the game in his post match interview.

Said he was sent off for a two footed challenge and Keith Curle said 'please put that in your report'
