To put it simply, he’s not good enough.
And worse than that, he’s unreliable and actually undoes the hard work of his team mates by giving the ball away constantly, and messing about trying tricks that put us in trouble.
He’s not a kid, he’s 23. 4-5 years older than the likes of Lloyd, Kolli and Morgan.
He’s also not ours. He’s here on loan from a premiership club.
I don’t know if we can even send him back, it’s not always an option, but I get the feeling Marti is done with the guy and we may not see him again. |

He took a knock but there’s no way anyone else would have been subbed in that same situation.
It was just a your usual mistimed challenge he would have run off after 30 seconds.
He was absolutely woeful - must have given the ball away every single time |

… because there’s lots of other sports where elite highly-tuned athletes are expected to give it 100% in a competitive environment three times a week without a break?
Cmon now, it’s not the 80s where players could smoke 20 a day and get away with it |

Last weekend’s cup game really means nothing to me on my overall opinion on Marti. I wish he had taken off Ashby at HT but maybe he decided that would completely wreck the bloke’s confidence.
I believe Marti is doing a good job, but not a great one. He has his faults. His subs are often a bit strange and he doesn’t seem to be able to change the flow of a game that often. I do think he is a great coach, many players have improved, he is sensible, he speaks well and is likeable, he’s doing a good job I would say. |

We should find a replacement and send him back.
A premier league loanee needs to make our team better, not worse. No, we won’t get a Kyle Walker every time but we should be getting someone competent enough to improve us. He makes us worse. Even on the recent run he has been quite poor.
As others have said, Marti can be very brutal and once someone lets him down in a big way like today you don’t often see them again. |

Santos is the worst player I’ve seen in years. Not even a league two player.
Celar is just lazy, end of. Like it or not, Dykes is a far superior player.
Only reason we’ve picked up at 2-0 down is because Boro have stopped trying - don’t kid yourselves we’re in this because we’re any good. Because we’re not. |

Can’t believe how many posts there are slating our players it’s actually pretty toxic. Madsen seems to be the new villain even though he’s been here one week and scored a sodding goal |

Massively disappointing.
Okay he’s not Haaland but he works hard every time he steps out on the pitch, he’s great for team spirit, and supports our community programme, as well as having international pedigree.
I give it about two weeks before some on here are wanting him back.
