As I remember it, the offending bassey ran on during a half-time raffle draw and rogered the swan.
It was all rather hilarious. But he was definitely nabbed and appeared at Swansea Magistrates, charged and fined for breach of the peace or something similar. I recall reading about the case in the Evening Post weeks later.

To be fair.......
I do believe Marilyn Croft was voted onto the Trust Board as the Swansea City Trust Media Representative when the Trust was founded. She was in fact elected as such during one of the first Trust meetings, which I attended (in Mansleton Community Centre I think) Me, Kev Cooze and Tom attended the first one or two Trust meetings (the first was at the Builders. Where else? :-] )
We attended only as interested parties from the fanzines. We realised, as did most people, that the Trust was the only viable way to go at that time and we just wanted to be up to date and report it as best we could in MOL and Jackseye.
I met Richard L. several times, he was a nice, tidy, very motivated bloke, to simply write that he was passionate about the Swans (and the Trust) is a vast understatement. RIP mate.

As written above the Swanmail stuff is in raw Outlook and even older Netscape inbox files which contain all sorts of e-mail from the era. This includes private e-mail I received so these would have to be stripped by me. Let me look into it over the next week or so and I'll get back to you then. Agree that some of it is fascinating...........

Didn't he arrange a few private meetings with Petty and almost get lynched for it? Heart in the right place but head in the shed I think
As for DJS, I had many a run in (on Swanmail) with him. He believed that SCFC (post-petty) should be run on "socialist principles" don't ask me how that would work in the real world but in his fantasies he was convinced it was the only way.
Petty was simply a shyster and a devious conman, he was out to make a few bob quickly and, I suppose, succeeded. Thank fugg he met the concerted opposition he did otherwise he would have completely ruined the club back then.

I've seen that LinkedIn profile previous to reading this thread.
I too, googled BigMac for some reason, a while ago and I also remember being puzzled as to his "Liberty Stadium" planning statement. Sadly there is an element of truth to the claim. Silver Shield (ESC) did put forward (initially approved) plans to Swansea Council for a stadium in Landore.
Though (IIRC) the plans gained only preliminary approval and, crucially, were only for the redevelopment of the existing facilities at the old Morfa Stadium.
After the initial planning stage being approved there followed many hang-ups about further matters such as the Neath Road playing fields, the Morfa racetrack being incorporated into any new development, associated traffic problems and a myriad other snags which completely snarled up ESC's weak efforts. Also, I think McClure made sure SCFC paid out many thousands in "consultancy fees" in this respect.
I believe McClure's interest in SCFC waned considerably following the collapse of his Grand Plan. In the main because his only real motive for taking up the cudgels at the Vetch was the Morfa Move. As soon as it became clear it wasn't to be he dumped the Swans into the clutches of Mike Lewis and co.
Tom was one of the first onto McClures shenanigans and helped expose him as the carpetbagger he was. In effect, he (McClure) held the club hostage and dangled it's existence using the Morfa Move as ransom.
Tom and I do still meet occasionally I think he still goes regularly to watch the Swans.
As for archives I do have (somewhere) e-mail inbox files from that era of all the old Swanmail list output. These are very large, old Outlook and Netscape files, I have no Idea how I would go about reading/collating them. Any suggestions? Some of those would make very interesting reading. I'm a bit of a hoarder when it comes to stuff like that. It would be nice to think someone would find them useful :=]
Anyhoo.......I miss those days, meeting in the Potters Wheel/Builders/Garibaldi/Clarence (usually in that order) and then sojourning into the Hairy Grief at half-time.
