Tall Paul has put himself about, but then we go and concede again at the other end. |

Manning! How does he do that? He wasn't even on the bench against Bournemouth. |

1. 1-0 to Saints, heroic defending. 2. 2-1 to Arsenal after going 1-0 up. 3. Draw backs to the wall. 4. 5-0 to Arsenal. |

"Everyone will have an opinion. The people's opinions that matter are my bosses, the owners of the club and the people inside that I work with every day'' Why walk over to the fans after the game if the only opinions that matter are my bosses? You may say that you are congratulating them for supporting the club but that statement isn't going to go down well with them is it? [Post edited 3 Oct 20:58]

English teams were feared when we played 2 upfront, usually with a big striker and his partner.Defences do not like a big striker in their box,he only needs to stand there and he becomes a nuisance at least. |

Not sure we play anyone upfront. |
| Forum Reply | Dibling at 09:35 3 Oct 2024
At one stage he charge through 3 or 4 Bournemouth players with inevitable outcome of losing the ball, the lad has no guidance on or off the field. |

I felt sorry for him on Monday night. He did his best but should have had someone playing alongside him. When you have raw talent like him you don't throw him upfront on his own like that. There's been some great partnerships up front how could we forget Channon and Keegan Rush and Dalglish Shearer and Sutton etc Don't play a youngster upfront on his own,it would have been better if he had played with Armstrong for company on Monday. Don't despair you're a good player,we can see that. [Post edited 2 Oct 19:01]

Interested,Dirk where did you hear that ' He then started making his feelings known to the other players' |

The Bournemouth performance in the first half convinced me that his time is up. |

Do you ever wonder why so many players bought don’t improve? Bella Kotchap started well for us and even got a call up from Germany. Tall Paul was a prolific goal scorer all be it in a lesser league was given little chance under two of our poorest managers. There are numerous others whose form drop when joining us. The problem is more to do with off the pitch than on it. |

To me there looked like there was no belief in the team that they could win last night. Its more of a problem off the field than on it. |

'A small matter of Arsenal away next. Just when you think things couldn't get much worse..' Oh I don't know, have some Arsenal players in my fantasy football team |

Never did I think Saints would be 3-0 down at half time to Bournemouth. We manage to make poor/average sides at best sides look brilliant. oh! did Archer touch the ball? [Post edited 30 Sep 21:57]
