Just a thought….the Beatles went fairly quickly from an energetic pop group to relatively complex stuff. How much was down to George Martin, did he arrange as well as produce ? |

Starmer's “ boots on the ground and planes in the air” is, hopefully just waffle. The Army has fewer members than at any time since the Napoleonic wars.
The younger generation aren't well disposed to war which may be a good thing in modern times.
My Dad's generation were as hard as nails. My uncle swept mines in the North Atlantic - this was not exceptional to that generation. |

Just read that from next season, that a corner will be awarded if a keeper holds on to the ball for over 8 seconds.
Has this been mooted before or have I been half asleep ? Doesn't take much these days.
