That name rings a bell..............There was a video posted on here a few years ago taken in some sort of parliament building where they were all singing a football song that went on for ages. Not sure if anyone remembers but I swear it was this team? Cracking video though! |

Best team won by miles. Most of my mates have gone.....supporting Northampton.. a lot of people round here are a bit gutted that these two didn't break the record for attendance at a league 2 playoff final. Thought they would myself judging by previous turnout's at Wembley. Spose nearly 50,000 for league 2 is still impressive, not sure why more didn't go from Northampton, maybe it is the recession and more people have Sky than they did in 1998 when they took over 40,000.... still, from what I've read there will be over 10,000 less at tomorrow's league 1 final so pretty good really. Thought Brentford would bring 30,000+ though!!!! |

The only people who stick up for MK Dons are people that live in MK. Strange really as most people from MK, well at lease those over 35, will not have been born there so you would think support someone else and understand why they will always be hated. Suppose those younger are happy to have a professional local club and don't really care where it came from. Shame really. Hope we stuff them! |
| Forum Reply | Harry interview after the game at 23:42 27 Nov 2012
Really? I saw that (at work) and I thought he looked quite pleased with just about everything..... said some good things about the midfield and we looked solid and created chances. To be honest, after the final whistle I was a bit gutted but after his interview it cheered me up :-) Strange how people see things differently, eh. Anyway, talk about a MUST WIN game on Saturday, let's hope the place is rocking! |

The first 2 things Harry does are: 1) Drops Taarabt (got rid of before) 2) Brings SWP back in to the team (you know Harry just loves a British 'tryer' type of player) Will he have the backing of the fans? I'll admit I didn't want him but now, after last week, until the end of the season it might just work but he might do the 2 points above and really p!ss everyone off....... just saying like! |

Based on what? His record? Warnock got promoted to the top division, what, twice in his whole managerial career...... and that's about the best he's ever done. I'm not knocking him as I and am sure most are very grateful for what he did but to say he is better than hughes is not just silly but wrong! Hughes has only managed in the prem and never been down near the bottom in a full season......we should stick with him because his record says he WILL get us out of this......I know that's not a guarantee but is prob as good as we are gonna get. |

No. No guarantee that the board would want to buy a load of new players in Jan anyway so stick with him. Also, when he took over Fulham and Blackburn they were in or near the bottom 3 and they both ended up top 10 teams so he has more experience than most in getting a team up the league.......and certainly more than Harry. It's bad but it's not that bad yet! So, no from here and even if it was Yes it would be a massive NO for Harry. |

Why do people keep saying that HR is by far a better manager than MH? or in a different league where it counts? I think I am right in saying that MH has never finished outside the top 10 in the prem when he has had a full season in charge of a club....EVER! (and we are his 4th club) Can you say that about HR...... no of course you can't, he has got a team relegated though....but he got Spurs in the top 4 once so he must be fantastic. Spurs, who for the previous god knows how many years have been around 5th and 6th and were always best placed to be the team to break the old top 4 hold on the prem. And please don't say what the so called experts say and he took a club bottom of the league and got into the CL........yeah they were bottom after 8 games but they were NEVER gonna get relegated that season, Spurs are the very definition of mainstays in this division. I reckon I could have kept them up with the squad they had :-) And I think he spent something in the region of 50m in the Jan window that season. As for West Ham, Pompey and Saints going into meltdown not long after HR has left.....yeah, he is only the manager so you can't blame him for all that but there is only one common denominator in all 3 clubs............and that is Harry. Sorry, but personally don't think he will be good for QPR in the long term. |

Only watched on the TV but am I the only one who thought Park wasn't too bad today? As said above MOM could be given to any 1 of about 5. |
| Forum Reply | Sterling at 12:42 10 Oct 2012
Seem to remember a youth players parents posting on this board just before he got sold, basically saying they would have loved him to stay here but as we had no proper youth setup to speak of he (and they) had no choice. Was that Sterling's parents? Either way, think pretty much everyone knew how good he was and might be! |

Posted this by accident on a different thread..... Why is it that every QPR fan that rings talksport, that I've heard in the last few days, is saying sack Hughes and he doesn't know what he is doing? I know these radio shows shouldn't be taken too seriously but surely that's not the general feeling among the supporters? Is it? I really hope not!!!! |
| Forum Reply | Options for West Brom... at 23:32 2 Oct 2012
Top post. It gets really depressing reading some of the stuff on here..... why is it so many people can't wait to talk so much when things might not be going too good? Surely nearly everybody on here has followed the club more than 5 minutes and KNOWS that the manger needs time...... that chopping and changing managers is NEVER the answer. Just chill out, the club is changing from top to bottom but it all takes time. And we are hardly cut adrift at the bottom. And while I'm here why is it that every QPR fan that rings talksport, that I've heard in the last few days, is saying sack Hughes and he doesn't know what he is doing? I know these radio shows shouldn't be taken too seriously but surely that's not the general feeling among the supporters? Is it? I really hope not!!!! |

I used to have to go to Stoke Manderville in the 70's and 80's for operations and he used to come and chat with the kids a lot. I even remember sitting on his knee a couple of times. To be honest never really liked him for some reason. And I swear it was his knee I sat on |

Watching the 'House Party' on Channel 4 after this show.... 6 DJ's one after the other for 6 hours with no adverts. Grand Master Flash just on.... played some top old school tunes, now Annie Mac is on. Bit out of touch with club/house/dance/rap music of the last few years but some of this is bringing back memories. Spose most on here are tucked up for an early start in the morning whilst i am in the middle of a 12 hour night shift :-( at least I got some tunes in the background....... |
