When Hill and Flitcroft were here first time, whilst still in League 2, the club came up with "a 7 year plan to reach the Championship." Despite the howls of laughter from most fans, I seriously think we would have had a good chance of being on the verge of that had they stayed with the club but I feel that was more down to the unbelievable momentum we had gained rather than any seriously laid down "behind the scenes" plans - if those plans had been in place, they surely wouldn't have turned to sh1t so quickly. |

I know that most trust members will probably be on this message board and will therefore know what the issues are with David Bottomley but for those that don't, it would perhaps be helpful if the trust specified why they are proposing the removal of him and particularly the removal of Graham Rawlinson - it is difficult to expect people to vote on these issues without knowing why that proposal is being made. This isn't meant as a discussion on why they should go, I am saying that trust members who aren't on here should be given all the facts before being asked to vote. |

If we can fire Gillingham and Peterborough off next year (7th season for those two) then we will be the longest serving along with Fleetwood (assuming we stay in it!) |

I think now would be a perfect time to rename the stand that no-one knows what to call (ie the Pearl Street) the Keith Hill Stand to show that he has the massive respect of everyone despite his amazing (probably never to be repeated) reign ending with a sacking |

I know, and I did. This wasn't meant as a criticism of the survey, just more of a prompt for people to raise it. |

Shame there is no question in there relating to the biggest joke of all and that is the regularity with which they run out of food before half time in the Pearl Street! |

Totally proud of the team for that run and particularly the two Spurs games and still think we are in a false position in the league given that we are capable of that even though the league table does reflect the poor results. Also proud of the 5,000 who made it down there, however, I would rather have had 4,980 fans there than the 20 or so who thought it was funny to make the gassing noises (who probably won't even have a clue why they are doing it). I am not offended by it, just embarassed to be associated with them! Add to that those imbeciles with the flares too! [Post edited 1 Mar 2018 10:01]

None of the recent moans about the way the club is run have really bothered me that much until it came to this issue about the inability to buy tickets tomorrow. I am not buying this not having a day off rubbish - if it is true, and I very much doubt it, why didn't they have Thursday off and work on what will be the busiest day which is Saturday instead? We have had season tickets for 30-odd years but will now have to join the scrum on Sunday because we work 9-5 during the week like 80% of the population. Come to think of it, why didn't the office staff take Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday off this week knowing that we were heading for a replay? after Sunday's game? Give them the next 2 weeks off cos no-one will be wanting to buy any once these are all sold (unless we do pull off the impossible). Get agency staff in to sell the tickets on Saturday? I am absolutely not dissing the office staff but I can't seeing it being a skilled job to sell a ticket. This is by far their worst decision, at least the others have some kind of reasoning behind them! |

You have at least another 10 years of that to look forward to - 18 years we have been in it and won cock all!! |

That's the one we use and that is a very regular occurrence!! |

Seeing as the great man has given the whole place such a lift I will also credit him with the introduction of the chicken balti pies - they are brilliant! The catering service is still an absolute joke but let's not be negative - those pies are ace! |

Don't run out of ALL food (except scandalously priced chocolate bars) after 5 mins of half time? The catering in pearl street is a joke. |

Agree with that - only problem is, if we did the same, we'd still only get 4,000 or so, not 9,000. In fact, if we made it free, I doubt we fill the ground! |

Not sure if the 50p thing is true or not (have e-mailed the club but had no response) but even if they sent 50 over, that's made them a full £25 extra - hope it was worth it to piss off another 50 of their own dwindling hardcore supporters. Apparently nearly twice as many Rotherham fans turned up as they were expecting. Surely they should be left without then? It was someone at the kiosk that told us this (though not the same friendly server who blamed it on studds being so busy!) I understand they don't want to over order and make a loss but to run out before half time on such a low home crowd is pathetic. I'm not having that some of the pies I have had up there haven't been frozen leftovers from a previous game either. I doubt they'd be transparent enough to admit to such a stupid decision to send them to away fans anyway! |

I know this has been touched on elsewhere. I know it has taken a few days for me to rant. And I know this will seem trivial to many. However, the fact that the arseholes ran out of pies before half time on Tuesday was a total shambles. It really is an issue when the 2 main reasons given are: 1) We didn't expect so many Rotherham fans and they pay 50p more per pie so we had to send some over there. 2) We couldn't help it that the bar was so busy! WTF? The catering service itself has never been good despite the quality pies but this was just beyond a joke! Don't even get me started on the £1 for a mars bar or £1.50 for a mouthful of syrupy coke! |
