Marti did one of those quick fire interviews for social media for the coaches voice. They asked which player he has managed that would be most suited to management. Without hesitation he said Sam Field |

Re Chair - His final ball, shooting and dead balls were off and he looks short on confidence. But the number of times he won the ball back of Plymouth through his reading of the game should not be missed. The goal was entirely down to him reading that situation, he did not run to challenge the player he positioned himself to exactly where there player was going to turn to. Still had the gumption after having the shot saved (and it was on target and not that bad) to lay it off and get yet another assist. Paal has been 100% better since he has been back too |

Great result, much harder than it needed to be, sinking to their level at times but just a bit better. Another day that is 0-0 but it was a bit of class from Kolli that makes the difference. 6/10 for everyone bar Kolli and head and shoulders MOTM Jimmy Dunne. Colback very off the pace still. |

Think this one of those that will bite us on the bum. I think the entire front four have been below par, Smyth has caused trouble but decision making not as it's been in recent weeks. Plymouth definitely have a goal in them. Expect to see Colback quite early and Varane benched like to see Kolli after 60. Frey not massively effective today |

Watch the Coaches voice with Marti for some good insight he calls it 4-3-3 but at particular stages on the pitch it's 4-1-4-1. No 10 in this system |

I'd have said that at the start of the season but he has been an absolute revelation as a 9. He can finish, he can pass, he can head, he's got fantastic movement. He's got a bit of pace but not enough I would say for a wide player. He is IMHO exactly what you want as a forward with a different set of skills to Frey. Lloyd gives you out and out pace, but I dont think he has the balance and I never feel he has the ball quite under control and I do think if we could get him on loan somewhere it would be beneficial. I dont see where Celar fits other than as an understudy to Kolli with Lloyd as the understudy to Frey. |

As I said in the match thread It was exactly the team I expected him to play. Smyth had a gash on his eye from Monday, Dunne also took a knock on his shoulder. Edwards was always going to start. If we played the same team from Monday Ashby still starts we still concede at least three goals. Not much point in Frey playing in deep fog either and Kolli walks away with an assist and a goal. For large parts of the game we looked the better team. Though it was pretty hard to see anything We've conceded 6 keepers not made a save. I dont think one of our squad gets in their team [Post edited 12 Jan 18:10]

Its because Amit's best buddies with Jamie Reuben (formerly of this parish) Hendricks, Hayden and Ashby all secured at mates rates |

I do think people forget that typically you are paying 1-3m in loan fees plus salary for the best premiership youngsters / loans and some guarantees of game time, the idea that we just send him back and pick up someone better to sit on our bench is for the birds. He's just had the worst game of his life in some trying conditions, with the players either side of him also putting in rotten performances. Some bad luck there too with the penalty. If he is going to grow as a player / professional it's the epic failures you learn the most from. |

No frankly, I've defended him but that today is as bad as he has been. I think the criticism has been OTT at times but no defending that today. Had the opportunity to make an impact and failed to take it. |

An element of one of those days where the score does not reflect the game. Nearly every shot they had went in Ashby will have recurring nightmares on this one, out did Fox v Portsmouth for ineptitude. I dont know if visibility was as bad on the pitch as it was on screen but we were very slow to react at times Edwards was well off it. Tough first game maybe. I've defended Madsen but that was as bad as his been but lets be frank all Leicesters goals down to poor defending and positioning from all of the back 4/5. |

Team is exactly what I thought it would be. Edwards / JCS is likely to be the preferred defence in the coming months. If one of Dunne, Morgan or Smyth got injured in this game we would be screaming blue murder. Opportunity for Madsen in a game where he might have a bit more space |

I dont think that is true that he does not try. He has been coached as is "the modern way" to cut of passing lines in shape, flying into physical tackles is a very British thing a very championship and below thing. The game is much faster and he is struggling to adjust. He covers as much ground as anyone else. He might be doing poorly but he certainly aint not trying. |

He's certainly the boo boy of the moment, reminds me very much of Richard Langley asa player type and some will never take to him, confidence is low, the fee is a millstone around his neck and Morgan has emerged ahead of him. But I do think there is a player there, but like Celar of all the players we have brought has the most to adapt their game to work in the championship. Gets called out more for what he does not do, than for what what he does. Very often plays the pass before the pass that leads to a chance. Does actually work hard maintaining the defensive shape and closing off passing lines. |

It's been an incredible tournament and incredible performance from Littler. But we all know he will be this generations Wayne Rooney and the bastards will be coming for him |
