That's Sport Republic for you. |

Totally agree. The owners and people running this club are sh!tting on their supporters. They are here to make money. They don't care about the fans. Taken for fools. And the owners seem to be getting away with it. [Post edited 20 Jan 21:21]

You have to ask yourself why we can't attract the best managers anymore too. They won't come here, knowing we have an average team. There is one set of people destroying this club. What do you think would improve things? Remember that top managers won't come here. What would make the difference? |

Except keep singing for the manager to go? Oh well, we just keep losing I suppose and do nothing. Imagine Newcastle.fans being told that when they wanted Ashley out. |

If that's your view, that they are all bad managers, despite them doing well.at other places (Selles at Reading and Hull, Juric was headhunted by Roma), then there is still only one set of people to blame. And that's the people who have in your view, appointed 5 terrible managers. |

Well after 5 different managers who have all failed, not surprisingly with inept players. The answer is a big yes. The problem.is above the manager. We can't defend, can't score, no matter what tactics we employ and no matter who plays. |

I agree wholeheartedly. But my point is we heard the Northam wall singing Martin out loud and clear. Have you heard any protests against the owners? I have sung it a few times, but nobody joined in. Thye joined in with the Martin out chants, as they did when we all sang Jones out. The problem are the owners, not investing in quality players. We will keep losing until the real culprits are brought to account. |

So why do we keep blaming managers then instead of the board and owners? We have been doing that since the days of Ralph, Jones, Selles. Then it was Martin's fault. So we keep blaming managers and nothing changes because the real thing that is wrong isn't being addressed. |

New manager, 5 defeats in a row isn't it? Change him again. Any appetite to blame the real culprits? Or just keep losing every match and pretend it's the manager? |

Another mistake from one on of our inept players. Still not being managed properly? These players are simply not good enough. When people start realising that it doesn't matter who the manager is, that the players are not capable of winning PL.games, the better. [Post edited 19 Jan 14:34]

The perfect ex scout, ex player recruiter to find some bargains to sell on for a profit, to make more money for the multi-club Sport Republic. Sound familiar? |

Woods would have been a great signing. But it comes down to money and ambition again. Great transfer fee for his quality, but he would have been on 100 grand plus a week at Newcastle. Forest are ambitious, so would have matched his wages at Newcastle. Other clubs pay more in wages, so it again comes down to the owners policies. He wouldn't have come here, because other clubs are always willing to pay more than we do. So we go for the cheap option of an unknown inexperienced player from abroad somewhere. But it's madness. They spend 18 million on Tall Paul. Instead of spending 15 million on Woods, and using the remaining 3 million on his wages, they would rather stick to a rigid wage policy. [Post edited 18 Jan 10:01]

Totally agree. A new manager has obviously created some confidence tonight and renewed effort. We saw this against west ham too. But we still lost. None of us should be surprised when the players think "what's the point? We try so hard and still lose" |

Bring back Martin? Or we could just invest in quality PL players. [Post edited 16 Jan 22:09]

Absolutely. But we still lost. We don't score enough.and we let in too many. That fact remains however we play and whoever is manager. |

A real gutter yes. But the players arnt good enough. It doesn't matter who is manager. We run Liverpool close too, when Martin was manager. If you.dont have the players, you.dont win games. |
