Would be funny if Nan Utd and Tottenham went down naturally and Man City got forcefully relegated. However, would soon wear off as the Championship turns into the SPL for one season and with the three of them all breaking the divisional points record and seeing who comes out top |

Ronaldo on €3m a week. Contract expires end of season and looking to re-sign. Been banging in the goals but the team still 3rd and 12 points off the lead at the halfway stage. |

To a degree yes but I think they have to listen too and maybe realise that occasionally another option might actually be better. If they choose to carry on with their own direction that's fine, but don't be surprised if it all goes pete tong. |

Seems like doing a Chelsea by spreading cost over a long contract but I thought it was limited for 5 years? Unless that only applies to a new signing. World has gone bonkers. I remember when we talked out £50k a week being utterly insane (which it was and still is). Now the likes of £100k/200k/500k are being banded around like it's small change. |

Yeah, at some point I guess a decision has to be made either way. Worked OK for Smyth, just hope it turns out OK for Kelman. |

I'd imagine Americans are quite good at playing "Catchphrase" |

Sadly i think most clubs in the top division are iffy, but Chelsea were off the scale. I understand current owners saying they should not be penalised for past owners doings so simply strip the club of titles it ‘won’ during that time. It happened to Juventus. |

Three of them probably cost less than Lineker, nice reduction on our TV License fee I'm sure..... I think the choices are OK for the same reasons as above but I haven't watched MoTD in years. Endless waffle about the ref or, now, VAR. I just watch the highlights/goals on my SkySports app (free to view), not really interested in 10 mins of the game and 15 mins of waffle afterwards. |

I think I should have chosen an example other than a cucumber...... A hoover maybe. |

Football is a business and football clubs are business. Unless we have fan ownership there's not a lot more we can do any more than I can do anything about the fact my local supermarket charges 89p for a cucumber when a couple of years ago it was 50p. Where it gets blurred is football is emotional and a cucumber is not (well, not for me anyway) so not quite sure what we can do other than turn our backs on it completely (and I know those who have) or carry on. The closest I think we came to any kind of revolution was the centre pitch sit-in (I was there!) against Man City during the time of the whole Fulham Park Rangers debacle. One option is to buy-out the owners and take over ownership, with all the costs that go with it, and run the club in a way they see fit. Other than that, I don't see what other options there are? |

Football really is dead if we have companies like Disney wanting to dictate how things are done. The Welsh FA should tell them to fark orf but money talks and has controlled football for the last few decades. |

I have no problem with Cardiff, Swansea, Wrexham, Newport etc playing in the EFL/EPL but when in that affiliation, that's it, you play the same competitions as everyone else in the same affiliation. What next... Shrewsbury, Hereford or even Bristol City/Rovers wanting to join too on the basis that if the Welsh clubs can competing in the EFL/PL they should be able to compete in the Welsh Cup? Carlisle might ask to participate in the Scottish League & SFA Cup? Where does it end? As said, I thought all this was put to bed years ago, not sure who/why it's now deemed a possibility again. |

“responsibility to paying spectators” - PMSL, whenever have they given a schit about the very people they inconvenience at every possible turn. |

“ Scapegoating is the act of unfairly blaming someone or a group for problems, and then treating them negatively”. Nope, none of that going on here, quite the opposite. You are, as always, the architect of your own problems. Over to you for the last word as i know you’ll want to. Night. |

Another poll (after your post match poll) wasn’t needed though. “Quite a number of people have voted” - 37 votes is hardly an earth shattering amount of data capture or an accurate reflection of the spectrum of the entire fan base. You should be in Marketing. There’s enough comments on the match tread and various ‘just back’ type of messages to garner the same result, which people are capable of drawing their own conclusions from without the need of a poll, and there wasn’t a ‘wide spectrum of answers’ as most of the options available steered towards your own narrative. You really do contradict yourself at times. What part of that are you not receiving? [Post edited 13 Jan 23:29]
