Great effort well played lads. I had my doubts about Edwards in that unfamiliar CM role but he did very well yet again. Best early kick off (in terms of excitement) I've seen in ages! [Post edited 15 Mar 14:45]

Very strange that Fox gets in over Morrison. Kieran Petrie on the bench, can't say I've heard of him before! I presume he's been doing well in the development side? [Post edited 15 Mar 11:45]

Thanks Clive, another fruitless trip to West Brom. I didn't watch the game, but I often think when we have no senior strikers available and a load of little 'tens' and wingers playing, why don't we try throwing Jimmy in at CF to win headers and hold it up to bring others into play? Especially against 10 men. His finish against Portsmouth also shows he does have a bit more composure in front of goal than your average RB too! |

Thought we looked okay when we actually needed to be exceptional to get anything out of the game against a sheff utd team who were in about 3rd gear for most of the game which was just about enough to get them through it. Ref bottled it on choudhury who was on a yellow early on and should've had a 2nd one either for time wasting or a stupid foul in the 2nd half. Lino wasn't great but he didn't deserve a lighter/object thrown at him in the 2nd half. [Post edited 2 Mar 0:02]

I like him too. He doesn't hide even when its not going well for him, seems to have a lot more skill (that first touch in the corner yesterday during the first half as an example) than you think and he has a lovely habit of scoring early on in games which set us up well. Marti is rotating the strikers really well at the moment and it seems to be paying off. [Post edited 5 Feb 15:20]

Probably. But then to the letter of the law it probably should've been free kick to them for the Lloyd handball before that. Thank god there's no VAR in this league! [Post edited 4 Feb 22:57]

He was brilliant. No idea how he wasn't getting more game time at Saints with how terrible they've been. Although Martin probably wasn't used to seeing defenders pass forward and run with the ball [Post edited 4 Feb 22:31]

Giving Taxi drivers grief sounds like one out of the Dennis Wise playbook. |

Its a bit of a strange deal in that, from what I've read, Chelsea seemed to be negotiating hard for a high % sell on for a player who as far as I understand is out of contract in the summer and injured for the rest of the season. Why didn't we get him to sign a pre-contract and wait to get this done in the summer? |

Its annoying that as soon as we finally address our long neglected LB area with the impending arrival of Vale, that we then suddenly look weak at RB if Jimmy goes! Typical. But we have to take the cash if he's not signing a new deal. We cant afford not to. |

Yeah, I'm not sure I get it either to be honest and at 5 foot 8 and a slim build it's going to be another one joining Smyth chair dembele and Saito in the land of the giants too. Hopefully he's pacy though and can chip in with some goals. My kingdom for a LB [Post edited 29 Jan 9:58]

If we can get LB in I think that has to be top of the priority list. Otherwise Ashby is coming in there to cover Paal and that's just asking for trouble even though he actually done a half decent job of it earlier in the season when Ken was injured. Definitely agree on any sort of extra pace we can inject in the team on the 'nice to have' list as if Smyth goes down there's not much of that elsewhere other than maybe Lloyd. There's a few rumours surfacing this morning that Sheff Utd might be interested in Jimmy Dunne. Hopefully not true! |

Definitely one the data machine seems to have got right! Not the finished article, but if he was he probably wouldn't be playing for QPR. At 23 he's still a baby in the deep midfield role he plays so hopefully will continue to get better! On reflection the clubs decision to go with Varane over a Haydn type is looking like a great move even though it was a cause of concern initially. |

Feasibl Had's (in no particular order) 1. Jimmy Bullard 2. Jamie Vardy 3. Kevin Ball Had not's 1. Hateley 2. Barton 3. Brett Angel (Although I was surprised to hear Mel Johnson say how good he was off the pitch in Clive's recent pod!) [Post edited 21 Jan 15:17]
