I haven’t renewed ours yet, and even then it is very cheap for me bearing in mind I go as a carer For my disabled daughter, so I can’t use the cost argument. For me, it is a real ball Ache getting there in the first place. Wheelchair, parking, accessibility, etc make it a logistical nightmare. I don’t mind losing, god knows I be been a supporter for 40 Years so used to it. All I want is that other teams know that they are in for a rough ride, will get there noses tweaked, and it will be a difficult afternoon when they play Saints. It just not the way, we roll over and get our tummy tickled. After all that we have to do the whole journey back, it’s not easy. But then we get a good result at home and then all is forgotten. I don’t know what the answer is really…it’s just Saints I suppose.
Ha, yes it was Elyounoussi. He also turned up at one of the training sessions the kids were having at Staplewood one sunday afternoon. Coaches weren't expecting it and he had a kick about, photos etc He was just as polite and interested as well.
Say what you like about Elyounoussi as a player (and people have..frequently) but when he is stood on your doorstep and walks into the house he is a decent, polite and talkative bloke, always smiling.
Davis was one of the three players that knocked on our front door last christmas to surprise my youngest daughter for the progress she had made with the Saints disability team. He was great and was really interested in what she had been doing. As has been mentioned he is a real gent. Link for anyone who is interested:
Like many others I have already purchased 2 season tickets for 20/21. Does anyone know what happens now, will they just be cancelled and refunded , or rolled over to 21/22?
That's half time isn't it? When the overweight bloke misses the goal from 6 feet out is always good fun. the kids racing around the pitch at half time is more competitive than the first 45 minutes.
It's the stuff before the kick off that makes my teeth itch.
What I found odd is that when I watched it on MOTD, Kreuger's face when the whistle went was like thunder. We had just got three points at a critical point of the season, yet he looked very brassed off. I dont believe some of the conspiracy theories I have read but blimey, at least look like you are pleased. What a odd reaction.
I dont post much but it is a shame it has come to this, i have been reading this board for years before I plucked up the courage to register and log on. Im not too sure why I bothered. The football posts are great and very informative and it is good to read more informed opinions then I could ever articulate. However the other nonsense that goes on and is very difficult to comprehend. Quite what it is all about I don't know and what a sad life some people lead. Anyway I will continue to read the saints posts and ignore everything else. It is just a saints message board FFS, keep it at that.
I might even listen to it on 5 live tonight.Whilst I dislike the club generally, it would be good to see them in the final. Wanting them to win it is different though!
it's a shame it worked out like this really. He wasn't a bad bloke, just totally out of his depth. To me, just as much fault should be given to the board / Les Reed. I hope Les is proud of himself tonight, hopefully he will be given the Spanish Archer tonight as well.
I was just going to ask about that. From what I can remember it was a bit of a laugh with the players trying to catch the mud and grass and lob it back. Tim Flowers certainly took it in good spirit. Then I think the Echo reported that in fact the crowd were angry and players were upset??!! I must have been on a different pitch at the Dell then as that isn't what I saw.
If he is still here at the weekend then i think we are stuck with him. I can’t understand why the board are sitting on their hands. I don’t believe in conspiracies generally, but this is making me change my minds. There has to be something going on we do not know about. I am genuinely baffled.
