If wanting to stay in the Premier Lge is
" Dickish", then I am !.
I don't just want to stay in the lge I want us to be an established Premier lge team.
But it's looking pretty unlikely at the moment, but we live in hope. |

I'm with you Grumps on this one.
Albeit Tall Paul is probably not a Premier lge striker, if he was given as much game time as Armstrong & Archer I'd put money on Tall Paul scoring more goals than either of them in a season, but unfortunately under this Manager we'll never know. |

Without Che Adams & Stuey Armstrong we are actually weaker than we were last season in the Championship.
WHY - because the players we brought in are worse than those we lost. |

RM said before the game that this was the most important game so far this season.
That is just crazy & a comment of a man that doesn't know what he's doing.
If he thinks that a Micky Mouse Cup competition is more important than surviving in the Premier Lge then he is showing a complete lack of commitment to the club.
We all without any exceptions would choose the Premier Lge over the Carabao Cup. |

We need to get behind the opposition & pull the ball back so that our strikers are facing the goal, NOT loft it in diagonally, those sort of balls don't give our strikers any chance because they are receiving the ball with their back to goal.
It's basic stuff guys, keep it simple. |

RM has the audacity & stupidity to say he was delighted with his players & their attitudes.
The 2nd half was a complete shambles, even before the substitutions, after the substitutions it was shambolic.
No one knew where the were playing or what they were supposed to be doing.
Very embarrassing performance.
Even Ramsdale had a stinker.
How we got to qtr finals of this competition playing like this is beyond me. |

Armstrong is a schoolboy footballer.
He never looks up when he's got the ball, he's totally unaware of what's going on around him, he just runs in straight lines making it so easy to defend against him.
When he does get a shooting chance he snatches at it wildly in a hit & hope fashion.
Yes he's scored plenty in Championship but will never cut it I Premier lge.
As for Archer & Onuachu & there lack of touches, I feel for them because we just dont get the ball into the box, we play everything across the face of the box, even Haaland wouldn't get any touches or score playing for us. |

We don't have a strongest eleven or a second string.
All of our players are about the same ability.
I do hope we get to see enough of Tall Paul to judge him because to date he's had no chance to prove himself, he might not be of Premier lge quality but I think it's possible he's better than those we've been relying on.
Also Bella Kotchap is potentially the best defender at the club, get his head right & it could be like a new signing. |

I agree that we should not take too much notice of what Pep said complimenting our team & RM's beliefs.
It was patronising.
He once took Nathan Redmond to one side put his arm around him & told him how good he could be.
We all know how good Redmond wasn't.
I like Pep & he's a great Coach but he should cut out his after match remarks about opposition & stick to praising his own team. [Post edited 28 Oct 9:03]
