They will let you do it 100%
The guard can do it at his discretion duty of care, plus the train will have BTP on all those cardiff/Swansea bound trains for that couple of hours window, not like the old days when fans turned up unannounced on a train👍

Get on go the train go straight to the guard and tell him your kids feel frightened and vulnerable and he will put you in 1st class and no extra cost👍

Exactly this the same with Saville it's seems everyone knew he was at it but they will say fcuk all to just to keep their jobs. I remember Janice Long digging out Saville and saying his thing with her was he would always come up behind her when she was live on air and grab her t2ts asked if she ever told anyone she said no....keep your gob shut and the money keeps coming init

All the cliches about going to more funerals than weddings....but unfortunately it's true when you get to a certain age.

35 Years Ago Today ...

A pretty accurate account of what happened.

We did bump into you Tim maybe the night before the game? by some shops when you were being chased we helped you and had some hokey cokey around a load of mopeds with some Greeks.??

In the day people did their own thing as we were split up into two hotels but in the night we pretty much moved as a group to bars like The Sussex 1 The Sussex 2,The Trafalgar,The Ship and the club above the The Ship called Cobwebs. The first night we were there we had a stand off with some Greek teen locals who eventually had the better of us and I ended up running straight into a hotel/building site and was hit across my chest with a scaffolding pole and suffered with pains in my chest for years after. I got friendly with a barmaid from The Trafalgar and always remember her name Diane and she was from Manchester she said it fills up with American sailors when there are ships in and sure enough they came and I would say it was 50/50 Greeks and American sailors. The Sussex bars had a FB page for old workers, old customers and it is full of Americans from back in the day and I got talking to a sailor on there and they heard there "100's" of English hooligans playing up so they wanted a piece of the English Hooligan.

The none local Swansea fan you talk about was very handy back in the day and did take a few out that night a lot more were supposed to have come with him on that trip but there was a mix up with flights and he ended up coming on his own.

A crazy few days and that night it went from zero to a hundred in what seemed like seconds in The Ship it was like a Mad Max film there were mopeds in the bar benches flying throw the air glass coming down on our heads from the nightclub canopy bonkers bonkers night and I've never experienced anything like that since.

Now Glafadya looks nothing like it used totally unrecognisable all the bars are gone some pulled down the only thing that looks familiar is one of the hotels and is derelict, The Ship is now some big burger bar

Should we continue to cover the national team ?
at 17:26 11 Sep 2024

Yeah why not especially as we have a few posters who go out for these games. A little report back and a few photos of how their trip went would be pretty good to have look at.

Exactly music & fashion come hand in hand and Oasis and that 90's look if you want was the last shape shifter. Since the 1990's Indie & the rave scene there has been nothing to get excited about the last massive band like them or not was and is Oasis since them thanks to the Internet and things like X factor the big band the whole music industry has massively changed. Same as most youngsters today they look like they have rolled around in Sports Direct or the opposite just very bland.

Oasis the last massive band to exist well done to them they could double those dates and people would still struggle with getting tickets.

Some interesting comments on here yet another example of working class people hating working class people for doing well. All the middle class wannabes will be there waving there champagne glasses with coke hanging our of thier noses. I hope they make millions & millions and blow it all again on family, ex wives, booze, & drugs. As Noel & Liam were once asked why can't you drive? They answered we don't need to drive....people drive us.

SAS hero of Iran embassy siege and daring Falklands raids dies ...
at 14:23 2 Sep 2024

The Iranian embassy siege is when the SAS became public so to speak, Maggie Thatcher insisted the raid was live on TV and no smoke grenades were used she wanted to show the world what happened when you messed with the British. What a different country we are now, now we would most probably rap them up in a rainbow flag and offer them counselling.
