Still probably the most one sided game of football that I have ever seen, Boro just about got out of their own penalty box about 5 times in the whole game and won 5-0.

Odd thread this, hardly any posts on a winning day with a very good performance too.
Anyway, another solid game, defence was sound, we pressed effectively and Eoms goal was vey well taken. We were the better side for most of the game, the last 20 they really came at us but only really threatened once.
At the final whistle they all came over, Eom did the first fist pumps and Sheehan practically had to be forced to have a go. It's not about him, it';s about the team, the club, it really is and I 100% hope he keeps the run going (3 games 4 goals, 3 clean sheets and 7 points) and earns a crack at the job full time, if he wants it, because he seems to be the best choice. If he doesn't want a big pay rise then offer him a good bonus but he can't be any worse than some of the planks we've had to suffer recently. | | | |

A lot of the loudest voices tend to go quiet when the team is doing well.
Excellent performance today. The entertainment value is significantly improved and three clean sheets on the bounce after the way we started the year is hugely pleasing.
For me Sheehan is getting the performances that these players were always capable of out of them as opposed to having them playing beyond themselves, but letting them play their natural games instead of trying to squeeze them into some idiotic system is paying dividends for him.
I can't imagine that many people are missing Grimes either. |  |
