Never started one before...never even thought of it. But the new QPR calls for a new thread starter...I'm going 2-1 to us (not exactly a massacre, but it'll do)

We'll probably win the next game just to keep hope alive and then shit the bed again v Rotherham, I think I'd rather just lose all the rest now and be done with it because this is just excruciating.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

To be honest, if I were Cifuentes, I'd walk after that shower of shit. Either out of disgust at this team, or embarrassment at himself.

Don’t worry, you will get your wish and he will be gone soon so you’ll have some fresh meat to complain about.

Utter shite, everyone of them. Chair, Pall and Cannon showed no quality whatsoever. Another opportunity wasted. In the shit big time now.

And Huddersfield win, of course they do.

Stoke curled out a 2 so we splatted yesterdays curry out for a 1.

Utter shite.

I genuinely believe that’s us done.
The players will never win when it matters . They get to within striking distance, that was the sixth time ..and we bottle it .
So what makes us think we will do it the remaining games?

Utterly sick of the vast majority of this lot . Even the new players were dogshit this evening.

So much anticipation and we get that. Soul destroying.

Agree - our passing, crossing and decision-making were utterly abject from start to finish. They obviously couldn't give a flying f*ck about staying up, so why should we? Hope some of the travelling fans intercept the team bus and throw a few well-deserved punches.

Poll: What should the club do now (assuming no imminent change of owners)?

23.45 midweek KO for me, done my best clear my desk in work tomorrow, and as luck would have it wife and kids are flying back to UK tonight, I reckon I can drop them at the airport and get back just in time to crack open a beer before it starts

I make poor choices.

So many depressing takeaways from that game, and poor performances across the pitch. But Chair really got my goat tonight. A particularly high "angrily gesticulating at everyone" to "actually delivering a useful ball" ratio.

Hodge looks a very good player.

This is the game that will relegate us. Final nail in the coffin. Rarely will you come face to face with a relegation rival that are absolutely there for the taking and shiit the bed as badly as we have.

Unbeaten in 4, morale should be high, team should be right up for this....good first 20 mins without ever looking like actually scoring then we revert to type, woeful.

Every fcuking corner, every bastard one, useless.

Almost every QPR player pissed me off tonight. Chair with his pathetic backheel on the touchline straight out of play. Armstrong waving his arms around like a spoilt toddler. Paal for his deadball abortions. Smyth unable to find the target from 6 yards. Begovich and his distribution. I could go on, can't be arsed....

Bollocks.

We’re going down because the owners stuck with Ainsworth at the end of last season and waited too long to pull the trigger this season. This squad is barely good enough under a semi competent manager let alone a bloke who was completely out of his depth at this level.

If we’d started the season with Cifuentes or a proper manager we’d have had half a chance but we effectively handicapped an already weak group of players with a sub par manager for the first third of the season and this outcome was always inevitable.

A very tough watch that. Cant find any positives really... actually thought Willock looked about as good as anyone and more lively when he came on. Hodge did nothing. None of the new guys stood out as better than anything we had today..
Chair looks like he doesn't trust Paal, so many times Paal was free and Chair holds the ball and takes another wrong option..
Such a kick in the teeth, we can't keep scraping back level to the other teams and lose all the big games,

ahh, really poor, why I expect otherwise I am not sure...

Playing 3 ball-playing 10's with Armstrong makes no sense.

I know its not the Stoke of old but benching Dykes & Field and leaving Cook single-handedly defending corners & set-pieces makes no sense.

St. Valentines Day Massacre?...Stoke City away match thread. on 21:46 - Feb 14 by Hunterhoop

Completely the wrong assessment.

That was nothing to do with Armstrong or Frey or Dykes.

The crossing and final ball from Paal, Cannon, Chair, Smyth and Willock was appalling. Bad decision making mixed with poor execution.

Chair crossing twice from open play 40 yards out in line with the D?! It’s brain dead.

That lot above had all the time and the possession in Stoke’s half to create lots of clear cut opening. Stoke weren’t even any good defensively. Holes all over the place, but we couldn’t see them or pass through them.

100% - the decision making was woeful

I like Chair but last 25 he was horrific- had a chance with about 20 left to shift the ball quickly out left a and instead slows it down and tries a flash chipped ball through. idiot.

No, it wasn't - it's that Cifuentes isn't a genius and is a slow learner (as he's told us himself), and hasn't been good enough to elevate this dire squad.

That was indeed a truly vile watch.
No cohesion - no influence from us in the centre of the park at all,
Was looking forward to seeing more from Andersen, but tonight we just looked like no-one had actually played together.
I take my hat off to those who called it correctly, as I genuinely thought we had finally achieved escape velocity.
Can anyone tell me what Colback was doing for the goal? It looked to me like he'd seen Burger was free, but made no attempt to put a block in - bizarre..

Predicted right after the Norwich game that it would be a tame defeat tonight.

Wet Wednesday evening in Stoke was never going to get anything out of this group of losers. They simply don’t care enough, and the few that do are nowhere near good enough.

Too many utter cowards like Paal who think they’re above it all and hide whenever they’re asked to stand up and be counted.

You can complain about starting 11, tactics etc etc all night but the reality is that with this group it really doesn’t matter who you put out on the pitch, the rot has gotten too deep and too many of them just don’t care.

Thought it was over a month ago. Got some hope back last couple of games. It's gone again now. We're dead in the water. Not a chance in hell this lot find a way to win 5 games in the next 14 and nab some draws. Not a chance in hell.

Bare bones.

I said in my earlier post if we don't get in front we won't get a result and so it proved, it has continually been like it for ages. All is not lost but the same mental weakness in the team shows itself when we concede first, just not got the ability to turn things over in these types of games. Remains to be seen if we can avoid going on those losing run of games which we specialise in, as that will see us down this time no doubt.

And there it is, the most predictable result in the history of association football.

We've never won a six pointer. Ever.

Millwall collapse looking our only hope.

Why if Anderson is a set piece specialist are we still watching Chair and Paul's pathetic corner attempts.

Yeah was going to say the same. Absolutely brain meltingly infuriating watching every bastard set piece either fired at the legs of the first defender, or floated on a cloud for an easy clearance.

Loving Paal's head tapping, signalling to the players "this one is going to into their defender's knees lads"

Paal made so many mistakes today.

Special shout out to Kenny in amidst the dross, he lowered the bar to a new all time low. Yes he always has a nice touch, yes he looks classy when in his own half, but he was absolutely abysmal today. The "elbow" in the face taking him out of the game (do me a favour), the dead ball classiness wasting every single attempt, the brainless offside despite seeing all the way along the line, running the ball out for a goal kick when we were in the ascendency and the weak as pss defending. It was the direct opposite of a masterclass.

There was some shockers out there tonight - Chair and Hayden the other chief suspects alongside offside Armstrong and wasteful Smyth, but none sunk as low as lil' Kenny tonight - utterly disgraceful showing.

Can we go out yet?
Poll: What would you take for Willock if a bid comes this month?

I think tonight Marti had his pants taken down by Schumacher. Got his tactics all wrong. Thought he would use Armstrongs pace Schumacher read it put 5 at the back against our 1 up front. Why Marti reverted to Ainsworth tactics which never worked goodness knows but frankly I think he got it all wrong tonight. Wrong team and wrong tactics. And once again we lost because we can't defend corners. Very poor

That was just so QPR. The day we need to be our best is the day we are our worst. The worse the opposition the worse we play. Can't see any any chance of escape now. We've blown our easier Jan & Feb and our chances to get out of the bottom 3. March is tough and I wouldn't be surprised if we end up in the bottom 2.
