Alister sadly passed away this morning after a long illness.
Lifelong Dale fan and Rochdale CC stalwart.
Could be seen in the main stand with his oxygen tank on many occasions.

Thats hit me like a hammer, I was at school with Alister and played in the same team at Dane St. I used to bump into him at Spotland and Redbrook and we used to catch up on our old pals and discuss the goings on at RAFC. He was a proper Rochdalian and a great help to anyone who needed it, albeit with a dry and sometimes cutting wit. So long Alister, thanks for the memories. |  | | |
