Smyth somersaults all the way back to QPR — Signing on 14:42 - Jun 28 by NorthantsHoop | Always seemed a bit lightweight to me and injury prone, even some Orient supporters are saying he spends a lot of time on the treatment table. |
How many games did he play last year? 40 odd, that puts him in the Sam Field league

I’m not sure it’s linked to the Director of Football model. We signed him once with a Director of Football We signed him again without a Director of Football

Smyth somersaults all the way back to QPR — Signing on 14:49 - Jun 28 by daveB | Sorry didn't mean it as a dig, I get what you meant |
It’s just a strange publishing phenomenon mate, rather than a dig. Happens all the time at work, the story I pore over with the lawyers for days lands with zero response, the NIB I thought about for 30 seconds has people on the phone for days. It is just weird that quite a lot lately some half arsed joke I’ve slung in last min has been the thing that resonated with people. Behind the curtain that Smyth article has been written for 3 weeks, and that Ball line went in a minute before publishing while all full of wine in a Portuguese hotel

Smyth somersaults all the way back to QPR — Signing on 12:35 - Jun 29 with 1375 views | JamieNaz | So, it turns out I have absolutely no recollection of Smyth at all. I've seemingly conflated him in my head with that striker we once had who scored on his debut under Redknapp from like 2 yards and seemingly never played again? I have no idea what that players name is. So this will definitely be like a new signing for me!

I believe Tom Hitchcock is who you're thinking about. As far as resigning Paul Smyth goes, I'm neither excited or despondent about doing so! I wasn't as impressed by him to the extent that many were, but I will definitely prefer to have him in the team rather than Albert Adomah! He will give us some natural width, pace & aggression that we badly need & hopefully will make runs behind the defenders. Whether he has the required ability for a full season in The Championship, we will find out! I hope that he does.

Smyth somersaults all the way back to QPR — Signing on 19:40 - Jun 29 with 1052 views | T_Block | I think Symth has a decent chance of doing well.I remember one goal res scored was real class and I remember thinking maybe we have a Owen type striker on our hands here.Never understood why he was not given more of a chance,Holloway buy I think so getting a chance under Ainsworth. Finally getting the chance he originally should have got. He could in theory save ainsworth bacon as it is clear we will become a counter-acting team.
