Sorry if brought up before, but just noticed Pompey will take 9000 to Spurs for a 1230 ko, and we'll take 4000 to Palace the same time.

The Met plod don't usually let us play the same day, let alone the same time, what made them think this is a good idea?

Possibly because the train strike is on, so Saints fans wont be able to go by train to palace as even though there may be a restricted service by South Western or Southern railways, it is virtually impossible to get to Palace by anything other than overland trains which will be on strike, Pompey however can get the tube to White Hart Lane albeit a long walk from Seven Sisters, but it will be chaos as the trains wont be running

Because there is a rail strike and a reduced service on those companies not on strike

I don't think that is the reason Nick. It's a standard kick-off time for FA Cup games now, I assume for foreign broadcasting reasons.

Last season there were 6 kick-offs on 3rd round Saturday either at 12:15, 12:30 or 12:45.

Nice to see that the travelling fans are not being inconvenienced and put in possible areas of potential trouble for anything trivial then 🙄🤬

You're right, 6 ko at 1230 and 10 at 3pm, though I'm not sure this or the train strike are the reasons for Saints and Pompey both kicking off the same time with around 13000 fans travelling from the South Coast it doesn't really make sense, as we don't normally play the same day in London, let alone the same time.

You'd have thought one could have played at the normal time 3 or 530 Sat, or even Sunday where there's no match in London that day for that matter. Probably made too much sense

There is more chance of me having a threesome with Laura Woods and Natalie Sawyer, filmed by Hayley McQueen, than us selling 3,800 tickets for a 12.30 kick-off at Palace with hardly any trains.

Had a picture taken with Laura in Qatar, I'll tell her to keep Sunday the 8th free just in case Pat

so if KO is at 12.30 then the 15.00 Saturday tv embargo should not apply

Seems we have about 120 tickets left now for the game, all of them restricted view at the back, judging by the number sold today I would think these would be gone by the weekend

Fantastic to take neatly 4,000 under these circumstances…

When they started selling, I didn't think the 2 blocks near the half way line were on sale.

Seems to be the case as about 1000 on sale now, nice for fans buying better seats on general sale than S/T holders buying early

Ah.

The initial tickets on sale see to have been approx 74 seats wide x 44 rows, so we have sold 3,250 approximately.

We now appear to have been given another tranche of 28 seats x 44 rows, so another 1,200 approx, judging by what we have sold so far in the new block we have currently sold somewhere in the 3,300 range.

It is good to see such good support for the team.

Tickets are very cheap.

Only £5 for kids, plus the £1.50 ticket tax.

I presume there will be a lot of kids up there. Only just over £45 for a family of two adults and 2 kids, including ticket taxes.
