After a dreadful start ...we grew into the game..for a side thats been cobbled together at the last moment they are shaping up well..very impressive at times..great movement always looking for a shirt to play it to..Beesley works incredibly hard at the top..a great effort by all today..looking very confident

Proud Dale fan this evening. This group of players don't give up. Such a refreshing change from previous seasons. I won't get too giddy but a new era is upon us.

Morley half-asleep, so it's now 2-2

If Morley had done anything other than a dad run after losing the ball he would easily have been in a position to either put them off playing that pass, or at least not get the shot away so easily.

It was reminiscent of the defending malaise under BBM and I think its exactly the sort of thing Stockdale will go apoplectic about in the dressing room at FT.

Other than that it was an enjoyable game to watch, 5 unbeaten and its becoming increasingly easier to look forward to watching us play again.

And Morley couldn’t be bothered to chase back, just jogged, lazy

Spot on. I can forgive him getting caught in possession from a ball fraught with danger. I can,t accept his complete lack of effort in trying to track back. It was bone idle. I would be surprised if Stockdale does,nt have words with him regardless of the 3 points.

What’s it called again when you have a succession of games where you don’t lose? It’s been that long. An unbeaten jog? A lossless streak?

Great analysis from Robbie again, so great when the manager says it how it is rather than the blarney or bullsh1t from previous incumbents. Note to Morley and Dooley, it's not Academy football. Brilliant day.

Did you put an offer in on any houses?

I think I'd rather live on the South Pole.

I've only been to PV once. That was plenty. Great 3 points today though. Glad you saw a good game and another W.

I didn't put an offer in on any houses but I did spend half an hour in the company of Corey O'Keefes family. It was an absolute pleasure.

It's not just his honesty and candidness though - the fact that he is so genuine makes you want him to do well despite the fact we are Dale fans. When something is done right it deserves success. This was the first manager the board appointed. They did well. I think this is the perfect fit for him and us right now. I have no doubts about his ambition and it's going to be an interesting journey this one. Very much looking forward to it and after the sh1tty Covid wilderness months this is just the tonic we all needed

Hope you sold Dale as a great place to move to

Sadly, I don't see him sticking around in L2 come Jan

“We don’t have to dominate possession on the edge of our box,” says RS.
Thank God for a manager who understands the harsh reality of league football.

So far so good. Some players who dropped a division are finding things easier at this lower level. Some of the recruited youngsters are coming on nicely, Taylor and Cashman are quickly getting to grips with men’s football.
I thought we were well stocked at centre half, but just shows how quick things can change. I do think the midfield is going to be a strength at this level. Quality like Grant, Broadbent and Kelly on the bench and Young Brierley not even on the coach is a luxury I didn’t expect to see 7 weeks ago.
And imo things can only get better, which I last said when we were bottom under Hilly.
To those singing the virtues of RS, he is doing well enough getting himself noticed without us helping. His contracted for 2 years and not a rolling one year I hope.
Kudos to the club and the supporters.
