I missed that gem. Well, if you can't afford the statement cheese table, you could always buy a ticket to the gasworks for the opportunity to purchase a £23 burger. Football at the top level is utter w*nk.

Saints even make you do that for yourself perhaps that is what the bowl service is for. Or was it a misspelling on the press release and should have said "Bowel" Service

I'd pay for a bowel service, an anus cleanse would be a good value add after watching most of Saints' arse clenching moments recently ... [Post edited 14 Jun 2021 17:49]

Large Scale Apathy on 22:38 - Jun 12 by Bicester_North | What about the 75 or so league clubs who are shitter than us? The lower leagues are full of proper fans who go and watch despite never having any success I hate this argument of “we have no ambition” and all that bollocks. Yes our owners are shit but we still got to a semi final and a relatively comfortable premier league survival after having topped the table in late November. Makes us sounds like babyish whining tw@ts The real reason proper fans don’t want to go is the premier league greed fest and being swamped by utter w@nkers who play it, watch it and cover it in the media |
I meant ambition in the sense of our transfer dealings. Not our league position. I’ve been a supporter since the 70’s. I’m not some spoilt kid. The commercialisation of the game has been good for the game in a lot of respects. But for the fan, I can’t see the benefits. I love watching the reruns of The Big Match. No diving, hard tackling, and no boring tactical drive lo from pundits.

I think it's great that the club are finally catering to people of our standard mush, finally they've seen that there's a portion of the support that are sophisticated flaneurs who prefer the finer things in life and don't want to be surrounded by oiks in replica shirts. I hope this new area requires a dress code, including having washed your hair the same day and have finery that stands up to level we'd expect of someone representing our fair city.

Maybe the Commercial Dept could be forced to work at The Den for a couple of months? The old Den might have been rough, but it was always as honest as the day is long. These catering w*nkers don't have a clue what football is about.

Technically players are far better now. The game is becoming tactically very boring though. At least in days gone by teams would have a proper go at each other. The Holland Ukraine game last night was a breath of fresh air.

Possession seems to be so important to teams these days, sideways sideways, why are so many teams frightened of losing the ball if they pass it forward.

Because the opposition can't score a goal when they don't have the ball....

There's only so long you can keep the ball passing it sideways, then when an opposition with a more direct mindset has possession they often do score.
