League 1 sackings.. 16:30 - Feb 10 with 2688 viewsRotherhamDale

Bristol Rovers and Northampton have pulled the trigger this afternoon.

A bold move from the clubs around us.

Possession with progression.

We need to find a capable manager who we can appoint on a deal until the end of the season. If they keep us up, their stock rises and they can piss off somewhere else (or stay if they miraculously choose to do so). If we still get relegated, the manager can also piss off and then paint the job as mission impossible in any future interviews

interesting. Rovers did little business in the window and Tisdale was hacked off about it. Northampton did plenty of shifting and shaping and have rolled the final dice.
Not sure if Wigan have changed manager this term, if so it means all those below us have gone for the trap door leaver.
It hasn’t worked at Swindon and to early to tell yet at Burton and Wimbledon. At least Jimmy Floyd got the chance to recruit some he wanted. So did Sheridan mind and that hasn’t helped Swindon.

I'm not in the bbm outncamp as of yet but paul tisdale is a mighty attractive option, plays good football with young players, now experienced had a bad ride didnt do that bad result wise at Brizzle, but were probably to far north for him

This is the One, I've waited for

Tisdale did well for years at Exeter, looking back he may regret ever leaving. Was actually surprised he lasted as long as he did at Bristol as fans were turning a few weeks back.

Not that I'm quite BBM out yet but I'm not sure Tisdale would want to come up north regardless of whether he'd be any good for us or not.

Chris Beech seems to be doing pretty well at Carlisle

Poll: What are we more excited for?

Tisdale may well be a one-hit-wonder who was a perfect fit for a club. Did a great job at Exeter but hasn't been able to get anywhere near replicating that at MK or Brizzle Rovers, even though they'll have a bigger budget.
