I’m seriously stunned, this guy was gold, strong and a proper JB.

Absolutely fantastic Ollie.

I remember his last game for us, at the end of the game some of the players were throwing their shirts into the crowd, I was standing at the barrier when this tiny kid squeezed in and started shouting for Ollies shirt.

Anyway, he was so small I doubt Ollie could see him let alone hear him, I must have got lucky, because as I shouted to Ollie he turned and I caught his eye, I pointed down to the little kid, and Ollie trotted over and gave him his shirt.

The kid was almost in tears when he got back to his father, and I heard him telling him all exited "I told you I'd get his shirt dad"

I apologise for going off thread a little, but seeing Ollies fantastic gesture, I thought this little story relevant.

Ollie was a Jack legend before this amazing gesture.

Now he’s gone to the very top of my list of true JB.

There should always be a place here for him when unfortunately Sheff Utd get relegated.

Probably not the most gifted footballer ever to play the game but well up there as a decent human being.

I"d slightly disagree on the gifted part, you need to watch him closely.

Whatever...still a Jack .

Gifted enough to score 24 in 44 for us in 2018/19

As a caveat I meant probably not the most gifted PL player .

Zero doubt in my mind that Oli will be back here at some point over the next several years, so long as we are in a position to sign him. The bloke clearly lives and breathes Swansea City, and from my understanding left as much for the club's sake as his own. This wonderful gesture is just the latest in a long catalogue of examples that he is a true JB.

Despite our somewhat mixed (to say the least) track-record on re-signing ex players I'm sure this is one we'd all get behind. It hasn't quite worked out for him at Sheff Utd but I've no doubt he's got it in him to score goals at premier league level. In the event we go up and they go down I'd be all for him coming back here if the price is right.

Absolutely awesome gesture from McBurnie and he’s showed his class as a thoughtful considerate person and clearly still has some good friends in the area.

But I can’t let it affect my judgement as regards him playing for us in the Premier League. I don’t think he’s quite good enough, sadly.
