Putting to one side the tragedy of this unneccessary loss of life I hope his parents have access to good legal advice.

If anyone knows the family I have contacts who provided help to me in similar circumstances of service failure.

Unfortunately in this case, the parents had to bury both their sons within a 12 month period. Matthews' brother Sam also died in tragic circumstances. Unbelievably distressing for the most wonderful parents, who I know well. There simply are no words.
