Just seen the start of the Millwall v WBA game. A wreath was carried onto the pitch and a minutes applause before the game. Names of fans and staff who died in 2019 were on the large screen and in the programme. Apparently they do it every year. As a club looking to be a community club is it something we should look at doing.
God no. We get enough minutes silences and faux grief as it is, especially during the now endless remembrance events in October and November. No more.
Normally I'd agree but I think it's quite a nice gesture towards real fans of the club...as opposed to silences for players who never played for the Swans.
