Free David Morris March on 18:25 - Nov 28 with 3183 views | Garyjack | It claims there is no forensic or DNA evidence which links Morris to the crime, that he was convicted because he lacked a solid alibi, because his gold chain was found in the Powers’ house and because, as a man who had been in trouble for minor offences, he initially lied to the police. Minor offences? Didn't he once beat someone to within an inch of his life?

I didn't. The justifiable doubts raised about the safety of Morris's conviction stem in part from the nasty habit of the SWP in fitting up innocent people for murder charges..

Clycach is not The Bronx. There ain't a great deal of suspects are there. It's either Morris or the Lewis's, and i'm sorry, i just can't see a police officer (or officers) carrying out such a sickening crime. Morris had form for being extremely violent, and whilst there being no DNA evidence, the circumstancial evidence is overwhelming and points to one person. David Morris.

And that's the very attitude that leads to miscarriages of justice.

It would have been a miscarriage of justice if he had been found innocent. But it must be great for the conspiracy theorists, not so for the bereaved family though. Ask yourself why the family aren't saying Dai Morris is innocent, and going on the march to free him, maybe they know something we don't. I hope it's absolutely p*ssing down Saturday.

Yes indeed, every thick tw*t in Swansea/Neath/Port Talbot will be there. I know somebody connected to the case, Police, who convinced me one night. The evidence was overwhelming.

I'm trying to remember - who was that bloke who was arrested and tried for the murder of a woman on Wimbledon Common. After the trial collapsed the police publicly said that they wouldn't be re-opening the case, basically implying that he'd got away with it. Sixteen (!) years later the real murderer was found. Gawd, it must be 30 years ago. UPDATE: Rachel Nickel. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_Rachel_Nickell [Post edited 29 Nov 2019 3:42]

"I know somebody connected to the case, Police, who convinced me one night. The evidence was overwhelming." I don't know anything about this case and don't have an opinion, to be honest, but why wasn't this 'overwhelming' evidence presented in court? I hope that he is guilty because there have been too many people jailed for things they didn't do. Guilty beyond a reasonable doubt? Not sure [Post edited 29 Nov 2019 3:52]

It was. Which is why he was convicted twice and numerous appeal courts have found nothing wrong with it.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |
