Ayew and Baston could fire us to promotion 17:11 - Aug 17 with 4446 viewsthornabyswan

Keep them both and I think we will go up.

Ayew is way above this level.
Borja will score plenty.

Behind them we have a keeper with guts and some very talented young players.

6 million outlay on wages for the 2.
In excess off 120 if we go up.

No brainer for me.

Really? Some people are in la la land. One decent offer and it’ll be bye bye. The owners won’t want want the money from James and McBurnie to fund the wages of Baston and Ayew.

Christ, its like some kind of parallel universe on here.

The owners want a route back to the Premier League in the quickest way possible so that they can then bail out. The presence of Ayew and Baston appears to significantly increase the chances of success (admittedly we’re only three games in to the season).

With CBR out on loan imho the decision has been made regarding Baston. He will stay until the January window at the very least, like VDH.

If the right bid comes in for ayew he will be gone this window. If the bid isn’t right he will stay until the next window when we will consider further bids.

And yes, one decent offer and he’ll be gone which is generally how it works for clubs of our stature.

Any player at any time can go for free if the club want them out and they want to go.

Not when nobody else is willing to pay 80k in wages mate. Nobody wants Ayew now so if he’s got ten goals and assists by Christmas then someone might just take him on.
Borja is a different matter and will go , unless we go up and offer him a new contract.........

Was sorry to see him go off yesterday, though he was going to complete a well deserved hat trick.

Each time I go to Bedd - au........................

I think if Borja and Ayew both stay we will score bucketloads esp Borja as we appear to be playing to his strengths and he is showing what a finisher he is.. He'd have scored about 40 last season when you look at how many Mcsox missed but still had a very good season.
Re woodman.. Not convinced sorry... Flapped at a few and that last corner he just stood there when their player luckily headed it straight too him from 5 yds out..
Hope he proves me wrong but best keeper we've had since relegation is pre xmas Mulder last season before Potter screwed his head by dropping him for the superior footballing ability of Nordfeldt...
