Dear lord, I dislike both teams, Jared Goff looks like a lobotomized spider monkey, but the Patriots definitely cannot win.

Saints v Chiefs would have been so much better.

Anyone watching it at a pub/bar? A friend is going to a local that randomly stays open throughout the whole night, another has paid £15 to go to Camden to watch it. I am going to bed and watching it Monday.

Passyunk Avenue is a great bar to watch NFL by the BT tower, a philly bar ran by Philadelphians

I’ll watch at home, we’ve got a massive feast planned, wings, ribs, brisket, collared greens etc, booked Monday off work, hoping for a close game and a rams win but expect the pats to win 35-28

I work round the corner but never headed that far up that way, might drop in tonight!

Sounds good, I have booked Monday off but frankly won't be able to stay awake so will watch it Monday. Your food selections hit the spot apart from collard greens which is just wrong

My GF is from Texas so we get Texan BBQ and collared greens taste better than they sound lol

Passyunk ave is awesome, you’ll love it, downstairs they have ‘the nick foles bar’ and 50p wings certain nights

I force myself to watch the Superbowl. I’m afraid the whole occasion of the game / day / week, is a bit much for someone like me who just wants to watch a sporting fixture.
Pat’s found form at the right time, Brady is driven...38 -21

Considering how the season started the Patriots have performed a minor miracle in getting there I imagine the day is quite impressive in the states. I was at the Superdome to see the Saints beat Atlanta over Thanksgiving and that was an eye opener!

Hoping the Rams win despite them being a divisional rival (Hawks fan)

Despise everything about the Patriots but think once again they will pull it out the bag.

I completely understand dislike of the Pat’s, it’s the same in any sport or situation where there’s a dominant force, one naturally roots for the underdog, but comparing to Chelsea is apples and oranges. There’s a salary cap in this game, whatever gripes, accusations, rule bending you care to throw at them, the reasons for success boil down to three things....a genuine fan buying the club, a genius coach being appointed and thirdly, an intelligent QB, student and lover of the game following orders.
Brady will retire one day, serious but not as concerning as the departure of ‘old Bill’ or the Kraft’s selling.

There's 9 of us booked into a venue via a sports group that's putting it on. Mega screen, cheerleaders, table service, hot dogs... It will be the first SB I haven't just watched / fallen asleep in front of at home so looking forward to it.

Would have much preferred Chiefs v Rams final tbh, 2 young guns going at it, but at least I can watch this and be in support of the Rams, especially as we'll be severely outnumbered against the Pats fans - being the Man U of the NFL that they are...

I do think the Pats will grind it out though, give Belichick enough time and planning and he'll find a way to win games.

But the Pats aren’t the Man Utd of the NFL, nowhere near as large a fan base as Dallas, Chicago or even our traditional rivals the Jets...Pats fans generally travel in bigger numbers to away games though. I was in Arizona a few years back and we brought over 30,000.

I think Man Utd in the 90s are maybe a better comparison to the Patriots than Chelsea - Belichik's the same sort of brutally effective manager as Ferguson, both teams have the same aura of invincibility, the knack of grinding out last-minute wins, a tendency to get more refereeing decisions than they deserve, and provoke the same kind of visceral hatred deep in your stomach regardless of whether they actually deserve to win or not.

I’d consider that a reasonably fair observation.

I'm actually watching it. But I have two problems - I have to be up early tomorrow, and I don't really know the game.

Cousins and a recently-passed away Uncle from Bawwston so it's Pats for me.
