If there's any way the club could hold onto Lukasz then they should make it happen. Captain next year for me. He would be the best keeper in the league and would be a real statement of our intentions.

I imagine we tried to offer both extensions and unsurprisingly, the one who would struggle to get a similar deal elsewhere said yes please, and the one who wouldn’t said no thanks I'll wait and see.

I very much doubt that's the case Tom. Contracts aren't worth the paper they are written on when a player wants too leave. Signing on fees and wage increases are worth much more. Eyes were on much more 'important' issues for some.

I've spoken to a very good Polish friend of mine today, who knows 'Wookash' (that's how he pronounced his name). And he informed me that Fab will definitely leave.
He loves living here, hated living in London, and will not go to a 'big city club'. But wants the most out of his career, and to stay at the highest level possible. He's also not happy that players like Routledge and Dyer earn more than him! Make of that what you will, but he's gone.

Would anyone be happy in that situation, its ridiculous, but typical on how we run the club or so it seems anyway.
Regarding the post above about transfer window, we'll do nothing until 1, players leave and 2, we won't do any business near the end of the window, that's virtually guaranteed.

He’s asked to leave, so I’ve just heard. Must be being reported somewhere as this isn’t insider info. Shame if true, but inevitable.

Would do well at Cardiff tbh.

There is talk of this as our keeper is away for a month in the season. 33 and out of contract in a year isn’t he?

Even after the season has ended Tom Carroll still finds a way to piss me off every day.

The club should have given him 3 years on 40k a week, 12 months ago.
They didn't. So make sure they get £10m for him or keep him.

If true ( which it probably is) can’t blame him for leaving

More worrying how the fuk are we going to get rid of Clucas & Dyer on big wages ?

Please tell me we have relegation clauses in contracts

Bloody ridiculous. His contract should have been extended last year and his wages increased. FFS wage structure in a club is so important. Absolute bloody shambles.

Boring? Nah, people are still on cloud 9. I’m a bit more level headed, this place is like a nut house, I always go for the crazies, odd places, off the map etc...

Yes, but he is too good for Cardiff and won’t want another season like the last. He will go to an established top flight side somewhere

Look at Newcastle when they went down, they kept their players and went straight back up.

Wholesale change is a gamble and not likely to succeed.

Can't see us going back up any time soon.

I'm sure we do, but would Bony and A Ayew (signed in January) have agreed to one? I very much doubt it. Their combined wage is £200k a week!

He has a year left on his contract. If he wants to go, which he almost certainly does, he will be sold.
