With 4 days of rain forecast from tomorrow I very much doubt it will be played.

Poll: Hill in or out? 2nd referendum.....

Maybe a game of water polo would be more appropriate.

We won't lose the money as we will still have to play the champions elect at some point this season, they will fill that end whenever that may be......

Optimistic.

Blackburn or Bradford maybe, not for Wigan.

Not really bothered who wins it but the later we play Wigan in the season the more chance of them selling out their allocation....

How about switching the fixture to Stalybridge Celtic's ground?

This morning (Saturday) Dale's youth team beat Wigan's there 2-0.

Great win for the academy.

Wigan were 8 points clear with Dale in 2nd. Dale now 5 points behind with 2 games in hand.

Reads as though no subs used by Dale, went for it seriously

Poll: DF in or out

Looks good for the youths at the moment. Luke Matheson played 90 minutes which is brilliant if you think that most of the other lads will be 2 or 3 years older than him. They won without Morley or Adshead too. The future still looks bright as far as the academy is concerned, at least.

Yes,good to see the kids doing so well....a bit of positivity around the place.

Pity we can't bring a couple more into the 1st team set up and give them some proper competition for starting.

I wish we'd see a bit more of some of them to be fair, they can't be much worse than what we're putting out at the moment.

After last season I thought Morley would have featured more. Has he even got onto the pitch yet? I know he's had the odd game on the bench.

We should use Rochdale Mayfield watching their game on BBC site it’s far better than ours even with the odd muddy patch

Not the same as playing on the pitch, though.

What time do you have your tea in Rochdale because some of us have to travel quite few miles to get to the game.

Presumably that'll be the one that says the game will 85-90% go ahead then one much closer to kick-off will be the one that calls it off and adds to our fixture backlog and making the hole we have to climb out of seem ever more daunting.

Why not 83-89%?

Is there an official Football League Pitch Inspection Percentage Chart to follow?

We could do with some graph growing, that's for sure...

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?
