Match Thread on 13:49 - May 7 with 1880 views | Jigsore | I really do worry for next season. I'm not in the Holloway out camp yet but... ehhh, the last time we regularly surrendered games like this we were in the Premier League

| And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

Match Thread on 13:57 - May 7 with 1619 views | 2Thomas2Bowles | I wanted Ollie to do well still do but results have been bad, not all down to him but do think the club have to reassess everything in the next couple of months. All the hope back in March was gone.

Match Thread on 13:59 - May 7 with 1578 views | Antti_Heinola | Almost had a bet on us losing by 4+ today. Wish I had. Sickeningly predictable. I love Ollie and always will, but to lose six in a row once could be bad luck. Twice is alarm bells. Hugely fortunate we played such a poor Forest side last week. I don't like chopping managers all the time, but I honestly can't see Ollie lasting until Christmas. I don't want him sacked, I just suspect Ruben will be left with no choice. And on top of that Redknapp will now be claiming 'I kept them up' with regards to Brum. Thoroughly depressing end to the season.

I think the consensus on here seems to be either sack him now or give him the whole season (unless we're in a relegation battle). Giving him 10 games just eats into another season which will then become yet another transitional season. I'm hoping Ollie in his heart of hearts knows whether he's gonna make a go of it or not.

I think what Clive said is right, decision has to be made now. Imho massive risk to let Holloway stay. he very nearly took us down again.

Match Thread on 13:48 - May 7 by Nov77 | Oh no, you've been infected too! Statistically we've done worse under Holloway than we were doing under JFH. JFH 20 points from 16 game,1.25 points per game. Holloway 33 points from 30 games, 1.1 points per game. We are also going to finish lower in the league than we were when Holloway took over. |
The difference between Holloway's and Hasselbaink's results means that it is only the extra points earned by JFH keeping us up. Holloway's 1.1 points per game would give us, over a whole season, fewer points than Blackburn are being relegated with. Thanks, Jimmy. Sorry about the boot.

Match Thread on 14:06 - May 7 with 1404 views | W13R | Ollie is not the answer, never was, never will be, no matter what a nice bloke he is. F**cking embarrassing that Brentford seem to be a better run club than us at the moment who also play decent football. What a fall from grace, surely there must be somebody out there who can get us playing flowing football what we was renowned for back in the day. I know not all the current crop up are up to it but surely not all of them are that crap that cannot play a passing game like most good teams in this league?

IH had a few swerves to make with the loss of Cherry and BFG, and I was delighted when he was appointed, but I cant hel thinking he should go now. We're still in this division despite him, not as a result of him. 10 game gamble to the start of next season is a massive 30 points risk, a risk too far for me.
Match Thread on 14:08 - May 7 with 1358 views | derbyhoop | There's barely been anything positive to say about this season. The football under JFH was dreadful. Bringing in Olly smacks of desperation, after failing to attract Rowett again. Biggest home defeat in our history. Losing 6 on the bounce. Twice. Conceding far too many goals. Not scoring enough. Every decent team needs a 1 in 3 striker. We haven't had any coming close. Parachute payments dropping again. And we're still making losses. The recruitment over the summer needs to be spot on.

Yes very true. If Leicester could sack Ranieri, we can certainly sack Holloway.
Match Thread on 14:09 - May 7 with 1342 views | ichbinnaughty | A predictable end to a farcical season. Come in Mr Holloway, your time is up. He's got to go. We have lost the joint-most games in the whole league. Our goal difference is absolutely dreadful. We are way too easy to beat. Performances are massively erratic, with the majority default being gutless and easy to beat. Phuck that.

Agree except in terms of games and minutes, Sylla is a one in three striker!
