I know it's been written many times on here, but the match day "product" really is a bit of a joke. Absolutely zero atmosphere and still an inability to attract anymore than a handful of supporters to a home game.
The regions, in particular the Ospreys, really need to have a massive rethink in terms of the way they are run. |
They do need an incentive pricing scheme. I'm not sure how much it would cost a family of four to watch one of the lesser games (as opposed to a derby match or Munster for instance).
Being televised live on the BBC can't be helping. Sit in a freezing cold stadium on a December evening with all of the costs incurred or a takeaway and a bottle of we one with the TV on? Difficult choice, not !
The Fayre on offer has improved very much indeed and if it was cheap enough I'd go up there. |  |
