Considering siggy has looked like a league 1 player so far this season it's probably hard to look decent. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Come on people, he's a Swans player. Feel pleased he's selected for his country. Plenty on here about how bad the players are, some of us are not always acting like good supporters are we?

The new Ash lol. You can't seriously think that working hard to protect our goal is one of his strengths. Look again at the Stoke game. Completely switches off for the first goal gifting Bony a tap in. He was at it in plenty of games before then though - switches off and loses his marker all the time, continually fails to track back and sits on his arse if he's tackled. Great on the ball though. Calm in posession under pressure, good technical ability and the best eye for a pass of any of our midfielders. But a defensive work horse he ain't.

He's been our best player this season. But the loons have decided he's "crap". Top goalscorer. Since he's been dropped we've gotten even worse.....

I remember being chuffed with Rueben Agboola getting picked for his country. Sells cars now.

The loons decided he was crap before he'd even kicked a ball for us, but yeah. One of our better performers this season, as faint a praise as that probably is. I'd be tempted to play him ahead of Siggy in the advanced role on performances so far.

well he wasn't dropped against Stoke and Charlie Adam walked through the midfield like they weren't there. If Fer has been one of our better players then it's no wonder we are where we are.

Charlie Adam walked through the space where either Leon or Cork or both have been in almost every game I can remember but our manager thought it was a good idea to have neither of them in the team against Stoke. Don't blame Fer or Ki for not behaving like defensive midfielders when neither of them is a defensive midfielder. Allen, Shaqiri, Adam, etc must have smiled when they saw our team sheet that night.

Yep, I've wondered about him at number 10 too. He wouldn't put in Siggy's work rate closing down, but that might not be a bad thing. Siggy was pressing on Saturday on his own half the time - a complete waste of time and his energy. On the ball, I've no doubt Fer could do a great job linking play and it would give him more opportunities to arrive late in the box. Would suit him down to the ground. Cork and Ki behind. Big call to drop Siggy though as even when not at his best, there's always a chance of a goal from open play or a set piece. There's not many players we can say that about.
