20 Odd of us in Rome, we had watched Wales beat Italy the previous day.
It was really mad that morning walking around the Colosseum and seeing so many Swans tops.
All the Irish and Scottish bars over their had boards advertising the Swans match.
Next we visited the Vatican at security you put everythig through the scanner
The security guard picked up my Swans scarf and said Championa Championa

My old man had broke his hip while on holiday and I was visiting him in hospital..got back to the hotel and upstairs lounge there was a nice big telly with no one there...perfect timing.
I had them to put it on and the waiters brought me lots of lager and nuts...was the best seat and perfect surroundings for such an occasion...will never forget...had my Swans jacket on too. |  |

It still makes me laugh today that people in the Swansea end thought the Bradford end was superb, and of course they said the same about Swansea from their end. Fck me it was full, both ends were the same !!! |  |

I don't think too many of our fans realised what a wonderful squad we had. Flowing football, interchanging of positions, good movement off the ball with pace to hurt teams and a decent defence with Michu on fire. I'm not convinced that we will ever reach that quality ( of football ) again.
Great day. And putting a fiver on a 5-0 win at odds of 25/1 made it even better for me. |  |

One thing that was slightly surreal that day that I've just remembered. That last Sunday of February is always Oscars night (it's this Sunday coming).
Was watching the coverage that night after a great day with all the family staying up with us and they were doing interviews from the red carpet. The live presenter / interview woman who was chatting to the stars as they arrived spoke to Michael Douglas and asked him how he'd been spending his day. His answer was 'watching Swansea win the cup' - he asked the presenter (an American) did she know that Swansea had won the cup - obviously she had no idea what on earth he was talking about :-) | | | |

I remember travelling up and stopping at Membury and a few flakes of snow started falling. Met a mate there who I hadnt seen in years, went to my seat in Wembley and my estranged mate was right behind me!
Great day.
Was wanting to smash us at the bookies but couldnt.....it would have been typical of us to lose....but as said I dont think we realised how good the team we had was, it certainly was better than now. |  | | |
