Like mourning really. No idea where we are headed or why, or whether the direction will be the same tomorrow or next week, too numb to be fcked off. Hoops more like a noose. Staring down the double barrels of an air asia marketing folly gone wrong and turning toxic. Toxic? QPR? Shirley Knott.

Didn't you just know those knuts would capitulate at Blackburn? I think it was Philips who danced like a fcking sheep in front of goal couldn't be arsed to score, threw nothing at it, not eve his gutless excuse, pulled up at a scoring op, and relied on Leroy effing Fer to do it instead. Jesus wept. I've paid to watch Mark ~H~ately, Kiwombwa, pretended Dichio was adequate to cover the loss of Sir Less, seen two Chelsea knuts be shipped our way and Vinny fcking Jones turn up for a comedy laugh, but this lot take the plumb effing biscuit. Not in the vain they dont turn up why do supporters I want to learn them some proper manners via the scruff of the neck. I've seen some shyte turn out as QPR but this lot? ffs. As road sweepers who would make the grade?

That is all, forgive me, to see us floundering like this.....i'll always be back, like a mug I am always. But these knuts misrepresenting as footballers? Fcking shame on them and shame on us for giving them a contract of any sort ever, knuts. You look at the squad and say yes, it's possible and watch unbleached dish cloths turn out week in week out who could not fight a way out of a wet paper bag and that is QPR 2016. Fish rot from the head down and we're not a marketing excercise but a proud football club with Charlie aside, one heap of dross drawing crazxy wages and delivering diddy men football. W4nkers. I hate them all. Because they are shyte, couldn't loan them to Crewe or Stevenage.

Totally bereft, where next?

I think the only way i can be disappointed now this season is if we actually get relegated TBH.

Anything from 21st on goal difference and above come the season end is basically meeting my lowered expectations.

Everything else - the dire football, poor results, boredom, dreadful transfers, malingering players etc - i've come to accept...

Maybe Jimmy will improve us over the coming months, but the club certainly aren't going to strengthen/balance the squad (misfits like Motta, Constant etc are not the answer)

Well we started with a plan this season and a manager who's job was to stabilise the club in the Championship and develop a team that could challenge for promotion next season. Admittedly he wasn't an experienced manager, but was learning and was an experienced and well regarded coach. Sometimes within his remit he experimented with things that didn't always work, which had the fanbase and the owners it seems in extreme criticism mode and calling for him to be sacked. After the incompetence of Redknapp, Ramsey to me was a positive move. How Rednapp got credit for our last promotion I just didn't know, when it was Clint Hill who changed his substitution which led to the only positive thing QPR did all that game.

Anyway Ramsey was told he had to go all out for promotion, which meant using mostly the highly paid players with their only loyalty to their wage packet and development ceased and results got worse leading to him being sacked. Back came Neil Warnock as a short term fix and who concentrated on our defensive frailties and gave up on positive attacking football that Ramsey had tried to use at the start of the season. Warnock made it clear he wasn't in a position to be our permanent manager and despite his previous success and good work this time with our defence, I think was a good thing, because he would not have been the man to develop our team for the long term. So we look for another new manager. JFH may be a good man and have every intention of being a success and even become one in time, but how is he any better than Ramsey was? his experience at this level and in coaching is no better, so why would he be any better? What was the point in demanding promotion from a team whose skill level, fitness and attitude is far below what is required to achieve it? Why did our Director of Football not tell the owners this? If he did why did they not take notice?

This is how I see it and why our season which started with such promise is now at best a write-off and at worst will leave us in a worse position than when we started it.

Nothing we post on here as any effect whatsoever on results, so using your argument we may as well give up posting on here.

Sorry - thought this a forum for posting opinions?

I'm actually one of the one more positive posters on here, but its getting more & more difficult to be so as this farce of a season progresses.

Nah, a bleat's a bleat. It doesn't do anyone any good, even you.

What do you, as one of the more positive posters (?!) want to happen? Synchronised booing? Another sacking? Pass round the Kool-Aid?

I'm watching with interest what Jimmy et al are going to do to lift up the club by it's bootstraps. What about getting behind them?

Honestly, I really don't know what the answer is anymore.

Thought it was mistake to get rid of CR, said so at the time, and also that it wouldn't improve things, which it hasn't - for many reasons, most of which Clive has documented in his match reports.

I guess we need to just survive this season, have (another) clear out, get in (another) batch of players that (another) new manager wants and see where we go from there.

I'll always get behind the team and have never booed a player - live as it were. Indeed the moaning of players at LR is another factor in making this a miserable season.

Has to be down to the players, they have played well in patches for all 3 managers but as I said earlier, any sort of consistency and indeed any sort of win seems a long way off.

Jeez, you are a Kool-Aid candidate!

Glad to hear you you're not given to booing and were against getting rid of the Ramster. I thought he hadn't yet proved himself bad enough to be given the flick, especially when you consider how good we are at replacing managers.

Not everyone is 100% behind Jimmy, but most are. I think he can do the business but even if he can't, as far as I'm concerned he's here for the season come rain, hail or League 1. We should only allow ourselves one managerial sacking a year. Any more than that smacks of a Briatore-like intemperance.

I've already tipped that we will lose tomorrow but I have faith that Jimmy will clean out the Augean stables. He has to take us back to basics and work it, work it and work it again until we get it right. Here's to good times a-coming (just maybe not straight away)!

I'll admit that I thought Ramsey was a part of the problem and had no issue when he was removed.

Subsequent results and performances have indicated that Clive et al were right (as usual) that the deeper problems meant no manager would be a big success without other changes happening first.

I just want to be entertained - something wrong with that?
If I go to the movies I don't want to know what colour the film director's Y fronts(where applicable) are.I don't want to know what the movie company's balance sheet is like.
It's immediate,it's up front,I don't give a flying fukk what other works are in the pipeline.I'm not one of those sad gits who go to the theatre and sit in the front row tracing the script with ink stained digits to seek out transgressions.

QPR have been entertaining in patches, but never consistently and sometimes when trying to develop teams there will be times when the longer term plans mean entertainment takes a back seat, or so many mistakes are made that the team are incapable of it. I think you know this really Blob and are interested in the longer term future of the team and the club, but like us all, have been disappointed in the continual dross we have had to suffer.

I think if you want guaranteed entertainment Loftus Road, at the moment and possibly for a while, is the wrong cinema to find it

Much as it pains my soul, I agree with Blob. Football for me is about entertainment. And yes you can still lose and be entertaining! (and I don't even specifically mean entertaining to the opposition fans..)

Not exactly a trick question,I've come out of LR and elsewhere feeling royally entertained by a draw or a close but pulsating loss. It's the vapid, homogenous variety of football I rail against and which promotes the emphasis on the minutiae of infrastructure.
It gets like a f*cking QPRathon on here sometimes, won't be long before you get middle aged geeks dressing up like at Star Wars conventions as their favourite characters.....

Exactly, and that's the point. Our wonderful owners have lost sight of the fact that should keep the turnstiles ticking - it's an attraction, like any circus or funfair.I never subscribed to the bearpit mentality(as in the 1980's) where the entertainment was more on the terraces than on the pitch. Why shouldn't football be a pleasant experience win lose or draw?
In times in direness I have always turned to other, more entertaining pursuits like pressing flowers and ministering to the homeless hedgehogs of the parish.

This will get much worse before it gets better IMO. But, to spin that in a weird positive way, it won't get better until it gets worse first, so the sooner it gets worse the closer we'll be to getting better.

For all the talk of learning lessons, we've obviously learnt fck all. We spent loads of money on big name players with big wages and big agents fees first time around in the Premier League, and second time round we did it again. We spunked loads of money and completely ignored FFP last time we came into this division, and although we didn't do that in the same way this time (the signings were a lot better and more considered) we have still spent way above what we're allowed to by holding onto our precious big names. We still believe the manager holds all the answers, and sack him quickly when that turns out not to be the case, even though we've worked our way through half a dozen of them now to no improvement.

We're a teacher's nightmare. We sit in the same lesson every day and learn nothing from it.

Now, plummeting incomes, FFP, transfer embargo, who knows maybe even another relegation, and we won't have a choice - we'll have to learn to run ourselves properly as a football club. Once that happens, we'll get better, as we did last time.

Just as an exercise, I try to imagine comments like those above in the mouths of our players. Just for a change. Do they see themselves as we see them? Are they baffled at their inability to put anything worthwhile together? Or were they unruffled by it, because they're in the game, and they knew what to expect. From themselves, from their colleagues, from our managers, from the people running the Club?

Do THEY acknowledge that they 'capitulate' on the pitch? That they're just the latest instalment of helpless or hopeless losers? Are they surprised that they do so badly week after week?

There is a subtle but important distinction in the way they talk about their failings, and - in my view - the way they ought to. If things go wrong, they tell us that 'we didn't get it right'. As if, somewhat surprisingly, they let it slip - when, as a rule, they're on it, and things are very much in hand.

That attitude makes sense at a successful Club. Well, it isn't, I'm sure, and that may be why those Clubs are successful. But it makes sense at Clubs where mistakes are infrequent to see a poor performance as an unexpected lapse.

But it doesn't make sense at a Club where 'unexpected lapses' happen every week. Where things go wrong, not because of some uncharacteristic slip-up, but as the norm.

So shouldn't THEY be telling US 'we have no idea how to put things right'. 'We haven't a clue'. 'We're not good enough to do the job'. Instead of the opposite all the time.

And shouldn't THEY be arguing about who is right? Shouldn't they be pointing out to any of their number who thinks what they usually serve up is good enough that it isn't? And if a few insist that they did well on this day, or that day, put them in their place by reminding them how rarely ANY of them play well?

Surely THEY should be at loggerheads over season after season of shambolic performances. I am sure they would be if they were only paid when they won. THEN, I imagine, THEY would be worrying where the next win was coming from.

In other words, it would save the Club a fortune if they were paid on the basis that they actually DID deliver what they're paid to deliver.

Or, if they're not being paid on that basis, if they cut out all the lame excuses and empty promises, and acknowledged that they weren't being paid to play well, win or succeed at all.

That way, their critics wouldn't be under pressure to be nice to them, and pretend that WE'RE at fault if we're dissatisfied. I don't accept that indulging this kind of thing IS being a better supporter. Insisting either on something better, or on a far more honest appraisal of what all these still extremely expensive luxuries whose lifestyles the Club - and, therefore, the Supporters - must fund are actually HERE for.

Because, let's face it, would anyone have wanted the 'talent' we've wasted hundreds of millions of quid on - and had on display in the Boardroom, the Dugout or the Pitch - if we knew if advance just how badly things would turn out in almost every case?

Would we have given them ' a chance' if we knew how ineptly they would take their chance.

If they were giving their time freely, on the basis that they aren't any good, and they're just helping out, out of the goodness of their hearts, that would be another matter. But we're getting suckered by what we might call the systematically misleading way people who represent QPR express themselves.

They urge us to be optimistic, and not to look at the poverty of their actual performances. That is to be 'backward looking', and negative. So they are exempt from criticism (tho' the odd hardy soul occasionally ventures some, I know). And when they get things wrong, they make out like it's the EXCEPTION, and - given their unquestioned expertise, and their successful efforts for us so far, they'll quickly turn things round.

When this is the very REVERSE of the truth.

If this is a battle of ideas, the critics are winning hands down. The promises and excuses almost invariably indicate yet another season-long shambles. Yes, sure, it will all come good soon - or long term - or ... whenever.

But we are under no obligation to provide them with their get out of jail card in advance. That is THEIR job. It is their job to SHOW us that they're getting the Club out of jail. Not ours, to persuade ourselves that despite all the evidence to the contrary, and none whatsoever in favour of the familiar unfounded optimism, we should go down that road again.

Handsome is as handsome does. Let them get it right FIRST. When they've done something worthy of acceptance, they'll be accepted.

We're not doing the Club any favours by burdening it with overpaid, underperforming nonentities, and disputing among ourselves (fun though it can be) whether WE'RE right or wrong.

They're getting paid handsomely to perform like this. Maybe they think that's why they're being paid. Maybe nobody tells them otherwise.

When I hear that they're condemning their own performances, and are as distressed as so many supporters are at this kind of thing just going on and on and on, I'll believe that they're going to do something about it.

But I see no evidence that that is so. As I say, if they were paid, pro rata, only when they won, then their salaries would drop dramatically.

Then, I think, we'd see real anxiety. Especially considering that so many of our seasons in the last 20 years have been relegation battles.

And if that were the case, their failure would leave the Club with progressively more and more money to spend on their replacements.

Instead of more and more financially distraught and restricted in the quality of talent it can acquire to bring about the improvements so many would like to see.

If that's unrealistic, then it's okay to be realistic about their 'talent' and 'performances' and the Club's REAL 'prospects', and 'plans', and 'future' with such people to look to to achieve it.

Yep, in gentlemans terms this season is a write off, but 10 points off the relegation places and a shocking ability to concede in the last 5 mins with no sign of the rot being halted, the great trap door is all ours to fall through. So it might yet get spicier. Only at Rangers ffs.

We live in a constant fog of appeasement and denial where no one is to blame save those unable to adequately defend themselves. In the extension of which we have created for ourselves the coccooned elite, cushioned on all sides by agents, press toadies and various parasites.Reality rarely gets a look-in at the highest echelons and when it does there always seem to be convenient excuses.
I remember the like attitude when I had my short stay in the Spinal Tap-esque music industry. To "the suits" the product was paramount, the mollycoddling and falsehoods were rife.It was "we" when things were going well and "you" when things weren't,fame was a fickle mistress.
If one could rid the game of these parasitical entities it might be a start, but since society has adopted without remit the culture of celebrity and notoriety change seems unlikely in whatever field of entertainment you choose to mention.
You only have one recourse, vote with your feet, shun the overpaid celebrity/sportsperson who regard your very presence as dog dirt on the shoe.
I just heard the glaciers are rumbling south in Hell this morning.

Poll: So how was the season for you?
