I might just stick you and the other usual suspects on the ignore list not a bad idea. Doom and gloom after every loss, the usual player bashing with oh so very clever pop culture references from 1980 whatever laced with the same boring political overtones straight from whatever red top was shoved through your letterbox that morning.
And the gifs. The hastily-googled barely relevant gifs. F*ck me
maybe one day I could hope to write posts of your quality but only once i've had a few shots of whatevers under my sink and slammed my head against a brick wall for a few hours
boring, boring, boring.
You are Richard Hammond and I claim my Mini Metro.
Strong and stable my arse.

I really like Top Gear but I have heard that Clarkeson is a proper c@nt!
A mate of mine works on the trains as a supervisor ...meets a few celebs and says most are nice people.... He said he wouldn't piss on Clarkeson if he was on fire.

Of course he's well paid, the show makes a bloody fortune.
"Top Gear is the BBC's most successful programme. It is watched by an estimated 350 million people worldwide every week, making it the world's most popular factual television programme, and generates huge profits for BBC Worldwide, the Corporation's commercial wing"
Clarkson must have seen this coming. Did he not last year sell a company that produced to BBC Worldwide? His shares came to an obscene amount of millions. Not sure of the details, as can't find it on internet. (I'm useless like that!)
However Top Gear will not be the same without him. Yes I do like the programme.
never watched it ,as never been interested in cars to me they are just lumps of metal that take us from a to b
did like clarksons tv programme on the raid on st Nazaire
lot depends on why he got into a fracas
if producer is shagging his wife for instance then wheres the problem if he just attacks the producer for not doing what he wanted then that's different!
I still like the show and used to like him but thought he acted like a knob after the Argentina show, which was in real bad taste even in today's PC nanny state. The producers were as much to blame and was gutted he was smuggled out instead of having to run the gauntlet like the poor camera crew.
Smug git then had the front to give a statement of denial and claim it was a big coincidence.

Good.Unfunny smug vvanker.
Met him on numerous occasions. Far from it actually but hey its the rule on here that if you are popular with the general public be it comedian, TV presenter, musician then you are automatically a w♤nker. Sad but true.
Scratch the surface and you really are an quite unpleasant individual. In fact you don't really need to scratch the surface. This is not the first time I've seen someone disagree with you on this forum and your response has always been bullying, intimidatory and either there is an undercurrent of physical violence or just out and out threats of physical violence.
I can appreciate that some people may find your posts mildly amusing but don't threaten those people, like myself, who don't.
Anyway, I'm off now now to pop you back onto 'ignore'. Bye

This is probably the reason why the World is going slowly mad.
My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

Can't believe some of the appalling comments on this thread. The hanging one towards the start is appalling and just offensive. It certainly isn't funny.

so the bbc are now suspending presenters who do wrong. shame they didnt do it 30 years ago when presenters and guests were allegedly sexually assaulting people, rather than allegedly turning a blind eye

Can't believe how many people like this show. Full of contrived rubbish. Every time they have a so called race for one thing or another there's always something to delay one or all of them. Good for TV but not reality. If you guys really believe the presenters are actually driving the overpriced cars on the show then crack on.
Not for me. Just boys trying unsuccessfully to be boys. So out of touch with reality. Utter rubbish TV.

Now name a programme that isn't contrived. Do you think that shows like Have I Got News For You is all off the cuff or do you think that the contestants maybe just maybe are given the questions before hand to prepare funny annecdotes? And the worst of all is QI. Spectacularly pre-prepared, smug, self-absorbing bollox if ever there was such a programme. What Top Gear does is do things that many of us would love to do but would never be able to achieve. Yes, the races are contrived but they know that we know and they don't care. But to do daft things such as build your own ambulances is nothing more than an extension to the silliness, but very funny of the comedy programmes of the 70's such as Morecombe and Wise.
