But given our midfield issues with Shelvey underperforming/potentially leaving, Leon getting old and very little else left in the cupboard, we really need to be looking to upgrade or will be getting caught short and lacking real quality. Thats not Carroll. |  |

I haven't got rocks for brains at all mate, Leon and Joe worked well enough before with Leon breaking things up and Joe picking up the bits and bobs and Carol is very similar to Joe, if Shelvey can learn to keep his discipline and get a tad fitter he could do the box to box job very well, he's young enough to do it, I don't think Carol will start before him or Ki, but he'll be a good addition. 5 mill for a 22 year old, English midfielder who has slotted in pretty well over the last half a season. He looks like a natural Swansea City midfielder, he's yound and still has plenty of time to develop with enough game time.
