Didn't know the last two - how long do work permits take - bet if it was a Premier League player - hours if not minutes and how do you get international clearance.

BTW - intrigued by the idea that McKenzie and Davies are injured - is this for real?

There is now way that McKenzie is injured - he can smell a move .. as for Davies, more of a disappointment - thought he showed what he can do in a few games last season but once injured he seemed to lose his way.

Signed a keeper - we have nine
still a lot of work to do before Saturdays game
better be at least 5 players before Saturday - plus hopefully some clearance re Oriol, Cubero and Orlandi

I think we also need international clearance for Lewis as well

West Brom have had clearance for the Costa Rican they've signed already.

McKenzie & Davies ARE both injured, there is no truth in either of them wanting out.

This may not please some, but it's true.

Issues for Cubero.

1. He'll need to have a Visa allowing him to stay for more than 6 months.
2. He seems to satisfy the conditions for a work permit regarding the playing for the national team, but he'll also need a certificate of competency in English Language. Without this, he'll be restricted to a 6 month stay initially.

Twelve months actually as tier 5 with a chance to move to tier 2. I see West Bromwich had no problems with their Costa Rican.
Mackenzie is injured.

Mainstream music is sh!t!

Glad to hear no problems (bar injury) within the squad. Still struggling to have a good 18 for Saturday. Least we have another in Lundstrom now - need to get Orlandi and Miller over the line, and get these visa's and clearance's sorted so we don't have to many youth players on the bench.
so reading the rest of this thread, sounds like we still only have 9 for Saturday that are signed and have clearance and are not injured.

It's hard to believe that Davies and MacKenzie have genuine and not just diplomatic injuries! Surely at least one of them would have been back by now since missing the Penrith game. If their walkout is to be believed, then it is quite easy to see that Jose has washed his hands of them?
