Cambridge United centre half, Josh Coulson is another name that appears on the rumours radar.
Born and raised in and around Cambridge, and a life-long U's supporter, Coulson has emerged through the academy to a first team regular with three goals to his account.
21 years old, Coulson stands 5ft 3ins tall and tips the scales at 11 stones 11 pounds. Clearly, the right buidl for a central defender.
U's manager, Martin Ling plays down the speculation. "
"Nobody from Norwich has been at our recent games," he said. "If I was a Norwich scout wanting Josh Coulson then I'd be at every game.
"I think it's just a case of people putting two and two together and coming up with five."
Norwich City supporters have grown accustomed to the smoke and mirrors routine when it comes to possible transfer moves, though, and it would come as no surprise to learn that Ling has been briefed to deny any such stories.
