It is interesting that the Party membership full of 'reactionaries' has so far voted in 3 women as their Leader, one of whom is black, whilst the more liberal, enlightened Party membership has voted in none as Leader.
I say this as a committed Labour supporter ... but Diane Abbott!!! |

I don't think the Labour Party would have been happy if a bunch of Republicans came over to the Uk to help campaign for the Conservatives during our General Election.
This seems to be yet another mis-step by the current regime. |

Thank you for clearing that up. The original report stated that Kaba had been 'charged' but that has been subsequently amended to the effect that he had not actually been arrested.
That answers my question regarding him not being in custody. |

I don't know if I am missing something but I cannot understand why he was out and about a few days after being charged with attempted murder. Surely he should have been in custody. |

Travelling abroad to watch our National team is a great experiance and it makes you proud to be praised by the hosts. I do not understand the small minded Club before Country attitude expressed on here. The two don't need to be mutually exclusive. |

One of the best: 'Awful Arthur's', Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina for fish. The restaurant title seems to be ironic, which is surprising for the USA.
I also remember the Berni Inns. If I remember correctly there were 3 in Swansea. Yes, good wholesome food and at a reasonable cost.
The one in Neath was not so good though on the one and only occasion we went there. |

As a committed Labour supporter I find it depressing that the Party Leader, and now Prime Minister, is accepting all these freebees on his own behalf and that of his wife. Not only is it tawdry and demeaning, given their own private means, but it's a smack in the face for those like me who (perhaps naively) believed we would see better behaviour from those who govern our country. I have become disillusioned. |
