10 mph can be just as dangerous
It is about driving cskills ,anticipation and interpretations of hazards.
Sone driver with such poor skills is just as lethal at20 as he or she is apt 30.
Want to make things safer,then, confiscate all vehicles immediately and permanently of drivers found using mobile phone at the wheel . If you’re stationery,your driving .
Then impound all cars of drink and drug divers and the proceeds going onto road maintenance and education . We could have free advanced driving tuition.
Then, make the minimum age 21 as they would immediately save lives and limit PS to 100 .
Then, introduce driver training on motorways as most haven’t a clue
Doing 20 mph in north wales village on a Sunday morning will not save lives
Taking cars of dykeheads from the road will help immediately | |

Yeah, all you need is for people to obey speed limits and therein lays the problem, there's too many people who think they are special and driving within the law, driving safely, they don't think it applies to them.
Certain places obviously should have 20 limits, some laces were reduced for no good reason and have been increased again, a blatant waste of money. Some places haven't been reduced when I think they should too.
Until they go after the bad drivers and get them to behave any speed limit is pointless to them. | | | |
