I have a good friend from Denmark who supports Aolberg (Andersen’s old club). This is his assessment:
“You will like Lucas Andersen. Best player ever. But now he’s past his prime. But a club player and a very smart guy. Marty probably asked for him. He’s a leader and a legend in Aalborg”
Sounds like a decent pick up. As others have said, we wouldn’t have got him if he was at his peak but god knows we need someone to make something out of set pieces

First time in years we have some giants playing for us which will be useful in both boxes . No more hiding our eyes when corners fly in and Dozzell and his like get beaten by 6 feet and goals flew in . Maybe we can get our share and this guy takes corners ( hard to head them in from there )but Paal is still not getting the right trajectory or curve its just not in his skillset. Exciting times for QPR maybe that light is not a train after all

Just dropping by to say, that I’m quite excited about this signing as well. As my fellow CPH Ranger pointed out, this has some potential. The key is probably to keep him injury free, he should have the skills, the personality and the work ethics to fit in the squad and make a positive impact. Fingers crossed.
