They are not being loaned to the Ghana, as the agreement has not been agreed by Ghana.

They have been loaned to the Asante King and will be displayed in a museum in Kumasi the capital of the Asante region.
Wonder if Killy will campaign for the Asante Kingdom to gain independence from Ghana

The loan concept might be more attractive if a large stock of exhibits was attached to a common pool that periodically circulated around a group of national museums. In that arrangement there would be no down time when a museum such as the one in Ghana had little to show.
