I can never understand how professional footballers cannot do the basics like cross the ball or take a decent corner. They have literally been playing football all their lives. I know that they are playing at a higher level than any of us reached but how is it possible? Genuinely. I'm not only digging Kane out here but it always amazes me.
The one and only thing I'll say in Joey Barton's defence is he (along with Loic Remy) wore a long sleeve shirt and not short sleeve and base layer. The hooped long sleeve is a thing of singular beauty and de Wijs brings that back I don't care if he turns out to be Craap Stam.

That's a relief, there have been previous signings where that wasn't a given.
I believe the last one legged player we had was Hesqueth Scrobble, signed from North West Sunday league side Garstang Rovers in 1928. Despite the obvious difficulties he faced throughout his time with us, he still played more games than Armand Traore and had more pace than Bob Malcolm.

Marinade it in a mixture of soy sauce, honey, fish sauce, five spice, white pepper, sugar and Shaoxing rice wine. Roast it, then served slice on steamed rice, with a side of pak choi stir fried with garlic and soy sauce
