Unfortunately, even though id love for Joe to come back, we might be the victim of his such fantastic form. Surely Jurgen is watching and he'll want keep hold of him

I would if I was staying in the PL. I doubt a top 6 club will be interested.

His game would flourish in Spain though.

Quite. On yesterday's showing he's a shoe-in for Liverpool's starting XI in August.

An idea isn't responsible for those who believe in it.

Not necessarily - depends on the formation and tactics klopp wants to use.

It would be lovely to have Joe back. But we've got far higher priorities than tying down the fetcher & carrier role.

Well he'd been watching him for months at Liverpool and never seemed to get any keener on him. Don't see why that would change now.

Disagree.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

Should be an absolute priority.

Not least because we could then have the 'Give me hope, Joe Allen' song which is one of the best inventions in a long time.

A midfield of Cork, Allen and Siggy would be lovely. And perfectly balanced.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Disagree.

His recent style has included over aggressive tackles and frantic headless chicken chasing of the ball. What have Liverpool done to the lad? He is no longer our type and ten million for him is far too much.

To me, that's exactly what we need. To many times our midfield was bulldozed through last year with no one standing up being counted with an aggressive tackle or harassing the opponent into a mistake. It was all too easy at points. He will provide that unsung work that we need and he actually makes some clever passes round the corner, keeps stuff ticking nicely.

Hasn't yet been offered a new contract by Liverpool,so there must be doubts in Kloss's mind as to whether he figures long term in his plans, back home with a min 4 year contract at premium wages will set him up for life and with the knowledge that another contract will follow.

Klopp will have bought three or four new midfielders by the time August rolls around. No way is Joe in his plans. Wages would be the issue probably...and maybe other offers although I doubt he'll get a better option than us, all things considered.

I'd it costs us 10m to get him back then do it. He knows the club inside out and it's a no brainer of a move for all concerned IMO .
Siggy, cork and Joe would have a lovely balance and great work rate.
We shouldn't under estimate the ability for Joe to slot straight in either, knows most of the back four and midfield and could hit the ground running.
