I reared a magpie. One of the most rewarding things I've ever done. Do feed him. Cat food soaked in water, hard boiled egg, red pepper, soft fruit. They need plenty of protein and get their water through their food. Juvenile magpies don't drink water. If he was scratched by a cat he won't survive without antibiotics, but if he fell from the nest or got in a fight with another bird, he could easily make it. Magpies are extraordinarily intelligent birds. Ours became part of the family, sitting on shoulders etc, until he learned to fly and left to live in the garden. Give it a go. |

I really hope you're right about 14th. I've got a bad feeling about this season. I know people are generally enthusiastic about Beale, but I just don't get it. To me, he looks and sounds like a complete plonker. Hope I'm wrong, of course. |

Was there with the children so don't know about the night life, but it is packed with students. Brilliant place. Can't believe it doesn't get more visitors. Fun, lively, bits and pieces of culture without being overwhelming, nice food. Was cheap too. Tell her she'll love it - and not to miss the catacombs. Skulls and bones arranged as art. Serious weirdness. |

Ian gillard is one of my all-time heroes, but I think he was at spurs as a boy |

Thanks Clive. One or two too many jibes at Marshall, I thought. He's on an awful run of form but it's not so long ago he was playing blinders, keeping us in games and winning us points. Maybe save the best put-downs until Seny's back and we don't need a keeper whose confidence isn't shot to bits. But a cracking report all the same. I'd been waiting for it all day - and it still didn't disappoint. |

Missed your article and just read it now, Simon. Thank you very much for presenting the finances so clearly. It seems that in normal world accounts we're moving from absolutely catastrophic to merely appalling (so in football accounts that's from not great to f*ck me). Good stuff. I spent years (the years of the ABC loan) wondering how long I'd have a club to support. I'm not so worried now, and that's despite the pandemic and its effects. A big well done to everyone concerned. |

Thanks, will do. I reckon it might be the same formation with different players (Thomas or Amos in for chair perhaps, Willock should be fresh enough I suppose). |

This thread's doing that vertical blue stripe thing that makes it unreadable on my phone. Does anyone know if there's anything I can do to fix it? |

Yes, he waves a leg nonchalantly and the speed on the cross does the rest. Very cool and collected after his sprint to get in the box. Not sure how false his false 9 is... |

Lovely scenes. Another bloody storm here, but that's cheered me up. Thanks for posting. |

Is Reece James still a Chelsea arseh@le? Our 10 men and no striker might just be a good counter-attacking formation. If they put us under pressure second half, it could work yet work in our favour. |
