From the other side of the world looked a yellow to me and the ref got talked into it by the Sland players, but respect the view of fans at the game who were much closer.
But then I'm not a fan of the red card rule anyway, it ruins games, reporting a player to a tribunal makes more sense |

It's about time (in more ways than one), that a proper account of added time on was made, rather than the arbitrary mess its been. Here in oz they've been having proper time on for years with AFL and NRL. Both oz rules and Rugby League are for 80 mins plus time on, why can't Assocn Football be the same? |

Living in Adelaide, south oz, I go thru the same thing. Waking up, half asleep and bleary eyed, you check the score. Blackpool 0 QPR 1, beauty you think, then you look again more closely and the 0 morphs into a 6.

Precisely. At the moment it seems almost guesswork with 1 min added on to 1st half and 4 or 5 mins to 2nd. An official time clock would help put a stop to all the nonsense that goes on. |

Perhaps timing would not permit, but I would have thought the new manager - whoever and whenever that is - would have wanted to assess players before there was a clean out on the one hand and extensions on the other. |

I must say that looks good. Unfortunately these days having the top emblazoned with the sponsors name and logo becomes too all-important.
As for the away strip, in my opinion, anything without hoops is not acceptable. Perhaps the Dennis the Menace colours, but certainly not some of the terrible colours seen in recent times. |

I think the time should be in line with AFL, and rugby (I think, not sure of all the rules there), 80 mins playing time plus time on for out of play, injuries, delays after goals etc, with an official timekeeper keeping precise time for those.
I would also introduce a rule whereby from a goal kick, a team has 30secs to get the ball into the opposing half. |

No one has mentioned Bettache, has he fallen from grace? Was terrific against Orient several months back.
Now, I live in Adelaide, 10000 miles away, and can only go by the odd game televised live over here, game highlights posted by Boston (thanks Boston!), and comments by posters, but the obvious dross of the last few games (esp that useless backwards/sideways stuff which is a blight on the game), for which Warburton has to bear some responsibility, cannot afford to be carried over till the first few games of next season. In the meanwhile, see what
MW's demands/expectations are to improve the squad (yes, effective wing backs for a start, from which effective crosses may kick-start out current strikers), do what we can to meet those demands, and judge it from there. But that's only my view from afar. |
