I know our manager usually talks sense but since the Ainsworth era I can't bring myself to watch these and hear the usual questions and platitudes. Less is more. |

Yeah I mean as drug heists go it's pretty terrible. Not surprising though. |

I don't want to get promoted. VAR and the rest of the endless media BS, division totally skewed to the success of the top 4. Being game over after going a goal down. Rubbish. Talking to a Blades fan they're very happy to be back in the Championship. |

Those devious Sky b'stards have us by the short and curlies. I can't make the game tomorrow but might have done had it been 3pm. But instead, er, it's OK I can still watch on the telly. Was chatting to a Blades mate yesterday about one of their upcoming games and he basically said the same thing (although he does live in Colchester). We are all complicit. |

So sad - him and Gary Shaw within days of each other. 59 and 63 years old respectively. No age. |

I blame fkin Guardiola for the unwillingness for footballers to shoot on goal these days. I attended three games in a week (yes I know lucky me!) - England, Leeds (don't ask) and last night. At every game you had players in decent range to have a go at goal, the crowd screaming "SHOOOOOOT", I don't think one player did. It's always one more fkin pass. AAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH |

I think as pointed out already we played our best possible team last Saturday and they were very lucky to come away with a draw against a fairly crap Wednesday side. Last night we had something of a patched up team against a decent virtually full strength PL team, who came a whisker away from a potential 2-2 draw and a penalty shoot out. There seems to be some expectation that we could have done more and therefore probably won the game? I could maybe understand the annoyance had it been another Championship team or from the leagues below, but not really this. Yes it's disappointing but in the end, we take the positives and move on. Look forward to doing this all over again for the FA Cup |

Fine margins to be honest. First goal goes straight through Walsh's legs, second goal takes a big deflection otherwise the shot is straight at Walsh. Lloyd's shot at the end goes the right side of the post, then who knows? That's football. |

I dread to think. |

Yeah I can understand people's frustrations - after the game I was bemoaning the fact we never seem to beat PL opposition in the cups but was reminded we beat Everton a couple of seasons back in the League Cup and probably should have gone further but for Keith fkin Stroud. Ultimately I thought we gave a good account of ourselves last night against a decent Palace side. If that Lloyd effort at the end goes the other side of the post then who knows? Was my first view of the current team this season and there are a lot more positives than negatives. Onwards and upwards. |
