I thought we played well and should have won. A view shared by some of the more intelligent Man U supporters in the bar after the game. Some of their players performances were very poor led by Carrick and Nani Evra and the funny little brazilian bloke who has a brother as a worse player. The quality up the front for them shone through with Van Persie and Janusaj and particularly Rooney who put a real shift in. Loads of highlights but I loved Spidermans tackle on Bambi Welbeck. Beware Man U have got their eyes on a number of our players accoprding to their fanzines. Great weekend away |

I could only listen on the radio, watch the MOD highlights and read the post match comments of the stars who were able to go to Sunderland. I think this is a bit ground hog day - did not play that well - should still have won easily - struggled to get a draw. Their goal was typical - Bardsley in huge space left by Lallana and the shot deflected past Boruc by Hoooiveldt moving back towards his goal line. Seen it all before. Worried by apparently another piss poor game from Lallana - making him skipper has ruined his game - one of Nigel's worst decisions and needs to be rectified for next season. |

Pretty awful stuff as the defence except Clyne struggled to deal with the West Brom attack. Below par performances by most of the team except for Schneiderlin, Davis and Clyne. I do not eant to single anyone out or debate the Ramirez sending off after being fouled by Long three times but Fox and lallana were both piss poor. Lallana seems to have lost his form completely. |

Fair point but as an example when Dyer cut inside him and Fox thought he was going outside which Dyer rarely does. Other than a few lapses I thought Fox had a really good game and I would not like to play behind Lallana and it became obvious when Swansea changed their shape with Routledge coming on to exploit right midfield.
While I accept that no one except Cork had a really good game, I thought Lallana was dreadful in and out of possession and the lazy backheel in the first half when we were 4 on 3 was poor. also I do not like him remonstrating with the full back whether it be Fox or Shaw when he is the one that has given the ball away or has not tracked back. I would not have made him skipper and I think he should relinquish it until he gets his form back. |

Could have won should have won but so could they. I am worried by the piss poor form of Lallana we cannot keep carrying him. Well done to Fox dreadful at times against dyer but overall did well. |

Good performance if a little below recent weeks but more than enough for a poor Reading side. I was a bit worried about asome of the poor clearances by our central defenders but hey ho another three points is great. I though the Reading support was poorer than any away game I have attended and there seemed to be a huge number of empty blue seats. Song of the day 'was Nigel Adkins - he's too good for you' which hit home. |
