Well at least there is 4 teams, rather than united/arsenal, or united/chelsea |

No, Pat, not at all. I've always said if my team can't win anything, or compete, then I'd rather have the occasional relegation, followed by a promotion push, than remain a mid/lower mid table side. The Etihad still has a decent atmosphere at a lot of games, the derby a couple of weeks back was fantastic and the game against Nick's favourite team next month will be the same, if not better. You've met me, I told you then as I will now, that if City can't win something, I'd like watching you lot do it. But to the bellends that gave me stick here before, you can just get to fk. |

Keep sucking them lemons, mate. I was out, and thoroughly enjoyed myself after the match, I'm just disappointed we didn't score 5 and 6. If you want to see classless, look back at the wanchors that gave me stick on here multiple times before, without provocation, which is one of the reasons I stopped posting on here. You fkn hypocrite. By the way, is arab money worth less than other currencies then, genuine question? |

It's late, I'm tired, you're probably right. But cut the bullsh1t about your chances of winning something. Just look at the teams that have been in finals recently to see Saints could have done. You deserved to win the league cup final against united ffs. |

Love this. Exactly right. I remember Roy Keane becoming the first 50k pw footballer, wasn't a great deal of moaning about that. Not long after, he scored an own goal that helped knock united out of the CL, cue the song from the City faithful: Who's that tw@t they call the keano, Who's that cvnt they all adore, He cost 50 thousand quid And he scored for Real Madrid And you're not in Europe any more..... |

How strange. And if we get 6 points off you this coming season, we will have done better than last season, when you deservedly beat us at your place. Don't blame you not going to the 'top 6' away games, as so-called 'lesser teams' rarely do well at them, something I know all too well. Agree with you that Norwich away is class, but Burnley? Not for me is that a top atmosphere unless a night game. Got nothing against you wizz, but I think your hatred of City is a bit misguided. |

One of the most ridiculous posts I've ever read on here. So just because I support another side that is 'cash rich' at present, I lack grace and humility? I suggest you ask Pat about that. I was responding to a guy that suggested if we didn't have our owner, we would be two divisions lower, despite only ever being in said division for one single year in our entire existence, is that so hard for you to believe? ffs you are a tad sensitive |

Imagine thinking City fans give a toss about united or liverpool fans taking the piss.....one a club that's only finished above us once in the last decade, and the other with one title in the last 30 years. Ask a group of City supporters, and you'll find 85% prefer to win domestic titles, and while we would like to win the CL, we're not really that @rsed about it. Regardless of your classification, City ARE a top club presently, whether you like it or not. |

I don't know what sport you have been watching, but it has been this way since the advent of the Premier League. Wasn't a problem for most when united won 13/20 titles, so why is it now? |

Did you say this about your beloved liverpool fc too, Nick? Asides from that, I'd rather spend £100m on an entertainer like Grealish, than £85m on Maguire, or £120m on Lukaku, as united did. Blame the game, not the player. |

The season after, PSG paid £170m for Mbappe, after laying out £20m to loan him for a season. Atletico Madrid paid £120m+ for Jaoa Felix, Barca circa £130m for Dembele. |

There's been a few £100m+ transfers, unless you just mean the Premier League? Neymar was £198m. |

He'll be signing a new deal in the next few weeks. I'm surprised, and delighted he's had such a good tournament, after a lacklustre (by his standards) domestic campaign. It's fantastic to see the togetherness in this squad, first time for a long, long time it's been like that. Funnily enough, it's coincided with the squad not being dominated by united and liverpool players, coincidence? I think not. |

How is giving you facts, as opposed to your blatant lies and misconceptions, denying it? If you are so certain, provide me with facts, not your usual sh1te you seem to come out with, silly boy. As for your little united love-in, good for you, size isn't important, good job your missus thinks that, eh? Oh, and I absolutely WILL enjoy it, thank you. [Post edited 11 Jul 2021 12:35]

In short, yes. City were clever with their accounting last season, and didn't include the Sane to Munich transfer fee, so that will go on next year's. We will also receive around £60-70m for Bernardo Silva, if, as looks likely, he leaves. We'd expect a similar amount for Aymeric Laporte, should he also depart. Grealish fee will be around £65-70m. |
